A snapshot from today:
Just a rose; I know! But here is the fun fact: I shot it with my defective K10D (it only shoots wide open, anyone paying $50 for such a camera?), and a promaster 28-105mm I picked on ebay a few weeks ago for $16.83 shipped! So, maybe not horrible for a picture taken in 6 sec with a $66 setup :)

I have a defective K10D which does not control the aperture. So it can only shoot in manual mode or wide open. It was packed for a couple years. I do not have any other Pentax body anymore, so I took it out and shot a couple pictures. Here is one:

I do not buy it cuz none of those who ordered it are happy with the pictures. Also because Pentax has not replaced the faulty units for the ones got a bad sample.

To me no APSC/FF can take much advantage of ILC, as the problem is in their lens size. Personally I see the m43 having the best potential. The problem is Olympus/Panasonic insist in having the same MP as the APSC, which makes the APSC superior. Give me a ~12MP em5 or em1 with IQ of K-5 and I'm sold.

I'm sure there are lots who prefer this, but I find the fill-in and external flash control more useful to give up on. It's only me, and I'm not such a serious or good photographer who really needs to upgrade his K-5. This just gave me another reason not to :)

Hmmm, my question is why you care about what others do? If it was about a purchase that would be another story, but you already have the camera(s), have the lens(es), and know how to use them together. Use whichever of your cameras you enjoy :o)
