This is what I must have:
DA15,21,35 macro, and 70
Supplied with the FA 43, my favorite.
Then its the DFA 100wr macro
the DA*300 with the 1,4 conveter for birds.
and the Sigma 10mm fisheye f/2,8 for Aurora
If you are on a budget, the A 50/1,7 is a very sharp lens,

Have a couple of Eagles nests within 5Km from my house.
White tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) is one of my favorites. |

Go for the DFA100 wr. The Tamron is a thad sharper, but changig fro MF to AF is almost useless.

Kenspo, I still hope for a 645Z Mk II , at very affordable price.
Of course the Z Mk II must have the pixel shift technology from K3II.

Setting the camera to AF-2 (Button customisation)
Then you will find the AF on your thumb, and not on your trigger.
Also, only use the focuspoint in center.

The simple answer is, no.
It was a nice flash in the film days, but has no pTTL.
Go for the Metz 44 af1. Its smaller, easy to use, and you can use it as a slave for your digital Pentax.
A brand new one, will cost you app, 200$
Best regards
Rune

With Pentax fuzzy logic I will go for: MD +
This combines ME, MX and the D from some of the digital cameras.
Instead of +, you can pic a number (and why not 42 :) )

Macro on a tight budget:
extensionrings and a smc M 28 og M 50
More magnification: Reversal ring for Pentax. (49mm for for M 28 and M 50)
You can use the reversal ring with or without the extension rings.
