Asking Price

Item Description
No need for introductions, I unfortunately have to sell my beloved 77!
I am the first and only owner, I bought it from B&H photo way back in 2006, I do not have the box anymore but I have the protective pouch.

This is still a pretty early one, serial number is 7300.

Overall excellent quality, glass is clean, the exterior has a few tiny marks where the black coating is a little gone, its very small though overall. Never been dropped. It works great, I use the DFA*70-200m more for portraits now and I'm waiting for the upcoming 85mm as well.
Look at the photos for review, I shot in a way for every marks I mentioned to show so there's no surprises.

Asking $490 USD shipped in the US. Not sure I want to ship international yet, just PM me if interested.

Thank you!

flash point 360 streak light - The Cactus for K1 ?

Which version did you buy ? I use the full manual non TTL one ( Not Nikon or Canon) with my K1 all the time, it works perfectly.
You only need to use the Cactus V6II if you want to be able to use HSS, but otherwise, the provided trigger works fine.

So quick update, I have been in contact with pixsy.com and after doing a preliminary review of my case with all the proofs, they feel it's strong enough and decided to send it to one of their law firm for further review and action.
Still no guarantee right now and it usually takes 3 to 6 months to resolve a case so we'll see.
It probably wont be much money on this case, but at least, I hope that having a law firm contact the blog owner should scare her enough to start paying for her photos from now on! :)

No I didn't have any copyright in the exif on this shot.

Sharing a shot from a paid photoshoot I did yesterday.
I used the Cheetahstand CL360 inside Ricebowl90 ( deep octabox) as my main light.
The DFA* 70-200mm amazes me a little more every time I use it! :-)
I showed this shot on the lcd to the mom yesterday and she was already in love with it!
Going back to editing the rest now! :-)

Pentax DFA 28-105mm F3.5-5.6

Asking Price

Item Description
I bought this lens pretty much at the same time I bought the DFA 24-70mm because I couldn't decide.. :-)
Well I decided to keep the 24-70mm.
Comes with what you see on the photo. It's a great lightweight performer, in excellent condition, I really enjoyed it during my trip to Europe a few months ago because I really didn't want to carry the heavy 24-70 around.
Asking $400 shipping included in the US.

Thank you!

Yes, I hear you, I use Pixsy.com and I actually found out about 20 of my photos got stolen hundreds of time, by so many little websites or personal pages, its useless trying to go after them.
The specific one I mentioned in this post seemed different (more important) and maybe worthy for me to go after, but maybe I'm wrong..

Yes, this is actually because of them that I found out about it. Im trying to dig more about them and the actual process to make sure they are good at it and the risks involved as well for me.

Thank you! I didn't know about picture defense!

No I didn't think about it, once she deleted the picture post, our conversation was gone with it.
But that's a good idea about finding others, I actually had the same thought earlier today looking at some of her recents posts with very nice photographs.. Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if she just "borrowed" most of them..

Yes, I'm well aware about the potential cost of going after her... the funny thing is it's not particularly a great photo, and I don't even care about getting money out of her.. it's just by principle, like you said, to let her know it's wrong for her to do this..
Thanks for your input.

Alright, I'm curious to hear everyone's advice regarding this matter, I hope I'm in the right section.

I found out a popular local mom blogger used one of my photograph on her blog for an article about a very popular resort hotel in central Florida, the article is about 2 and half years old.
It was a "paid" article in the sense she got compensated to write it. I only stumbled on it a few days ago.
I found out today she used my photograph on her instagram feed as well, so I left a comment letting her know I was the owner of the photograph and that she could have at least asked me before using it.

She first responded that she didn't know what I was talking about, that she only uses her own photographs. So I sent her the link of the very same photo, still visible on my account, and after a few minutes, she not only deleted the post but also blocked me so I can't see her photos anymore... the reaction of a mature person! :hmm:

So now I'm wondering what to do, her blog article using my photo is still up and has been there all this time, it has generated money for her I presume.. she has about 8000 followers on her Facebook, not huge but not bad either, and the most interesting part is that she added HER OWN watermark on MY photo in her article!
Anyone here with (sadly) any experience about this ? Should I seek compensation ? How do I do it ?
(I did take many screen captures of her blog article with my photo and all, just in case it disappears next few days.... )
Thank you!

Irix Firefly 15mm f/2.4

Asking Price
490.00 USD

Item Location

Item Description
Alright, I received this lens 3 days ago directly from the manufacturer.
I really wanted to get the Pentax 15-30mm but I thought i would try this one first.
It is in mint condition, like I said just 3 days old, I took it on one commercial architectural job on tuesday and used it last night for a few star shots in my backyard.
The lens feels great and performs great, im really impressed by the built quality, it really feels like a high quality lens, I have no complaints about the photos I got from it, I simply (and sadly for my wallet  ) realized I need the autofocus for my workflow, so I'm selling it and will get the Pentax HD FA zoom instead.

UPDATE: I just realized some may not have heard about this lens before, it is Full Frame, with both the focusing ring and the camera mount weather sealed, from a new company in Switzerland, here's their website where you will find all the info you need: Irix Lens

Here's also a thread about it in Pentax forums: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/16-pentax-news-rumors/316897-irix-15mm-f-...e-k-mount.html

I can provide full images taken with it by email only, Im not allowed to post them since they were for a job.
Comes complete with original packaging.

I'm asking $490 that includes PayPal fees and shipping in the conus.

Thank you!

Got the lens a few days ago, here's a shot from a little graduation session with it. I'm still in the testing period, but so far, my sample seems pretty sharp on the K1... It's funny because the few bad reports i've read are making me over thinking about it and I want to make sure I like it before my 30 day return window is over... :)
This one is at f/2.8 and 70mm on the K1.
