First shoot with Brand New 645Z: weird download?

This sounds like a Lightroom issue, not a camera issue.
Are you on the latest Lightroom?

Mac or PC?

Is the camera in DNG mode or PEF mode for raws ?
Or were you using JPGs?
Latest camera firmware installed?

What happens if you use the Pentax Digital Camera Utility ?
I don't have this issue on my end.

That doesn't sound right. It might do it until you are fully at frame 1. I suggest you shoot a roll, get it developed, and check the spacing gap between frames.

Getting out teeny, tiny seized screw

That's a pretty risky proposition. Most of the sensors have a microlens array and the dye layer is often a part of it. So if you remove the cover glass that is part of the package of the sensor, then you'll get access to the microlens+dye matrix.
I'm concerned you'll lose the microlenses and thus decrease the efficiency of the sensor.

Let us know how it goes.

What Camera Would You Want To Be Buried With You?

I guess it depends if the camera was the murder weapon and how deep the grave in the woods is...

so I'd have to say the 67 II, as its heavy enough to knock me out in one blow, and the wood handle would capture the fingerprints.

The screw might be in there with loc-tite or equivalent. Heat a bit might help. I'd be wary of solvents or penetrating oil.

Same during my test. Certain other modes like MUP also have this behaviour. Remote without delay fired.

K1 not firing flash with Godox Xpro-P trigger on 3 second remote mode...

I just checked this on my Pentax K1, with O-RC1 remote, Godox AD200, XPro, and get the same result when Remote Time =3s delay. Flash does not get triggered in either M or TTL on the XPro P.
Same deal when running with MUP and remote.
Bracketing mode does fire the flash 3 times when using the remote; no delay in this mode.

Tried this with the AF540FGZII in Manual mode - It does not fire either.
When I put the AF540FGZII into P-TTL. it fires once at the beginning (I guess for metering) and then a second time for the image.

I suspect the camera firmware isn't triggering ANY flash in manual mode.
Maybe someone has a pocketwizard or something else to test.

I like the way the neck of the guitar echoes the gaps in the fence; and the frets echo the plaid of his shirt.

Locally I special-ordered a few items - and they took nearly 3 months to arrive. So the global supply chain is running slowly.

And then we'd extend it to gather EXIF data so we'd know who isn't using what lens, so they could ship the surplus ones to us in need hee hee. Cool idea though.

Check for firmware updates for all the devices. Try using a different coloured gel over each flash, then you can tell for sure which one is firing, or both. It could be that the 2nd flash is firing late.
