I took it skating on wild ice over the weekend. I even had a close call on a thin spot but managed not to fall through! We all wear flotation just in case.
I had my K-1ii kit in the car but didn't bring it out. K-3 did fine! I used the other kit later under more controlled conditions.

Last night with the K-1ii & 15-30. This is less than a mile from my house and often a good quick spot if it looks like the light might do something interesting at short notice.

Your favorite "Landscape" lens?

Probably the A 35mm on the 645 system (film or 645D).
Nice and sharp with a smooth dampened focus ring.

On K mount (K-1ii) it's the 15-30 or 24-70.

Sometimes I like to take long landscapes so that would make the A 200 on 645, A* 300 on either system, or Tamron 70-200 on K mount good contendors too. Landscape as a photo category is very broad and not necessarily suited to one particular lens.

I really like this new Unknown Mortal Orchestra album. Reminds me of 70's Miles Davis a little. Yeah cat.

The full frame bodies are really nice but be sure to identify what it is that you want to improve on and at what cost would you do it. And the cost isn't just for the gear but the cost of carrying around a bigger body and bigger lenses and worry about your gear's safety. I have a K-1ii and also a 645D in addition to my K-3. I still shoot with the K-3 and 18-135 (as well as other lenses) on a regular basis because it's often the most appropriate tool for the job.
If my photo mission is to try and get that magazine or calendar cover of a spectacular sunrise, I'll probably bring a bigger kit if the location is compatible. But much of the time I'm cycling, hiking, skiing, or in an urban exploration situation and I need to keep the camera kit compact and have it attract less attention. In those cases the K-3 & 18-135 is often the choice because even if it isn't my best gear, it's plenty good enough to not be the limiting factor most of the time. Having the smaller camera along and ready has allowed me to get a lot of shots I wouldn't otherwise have been able to get.
Also, I never got an equivalent zoom for full frame because I already have the K-3 & 18-135 setup. For full frame I got more specific primes and higher grade zooms for when the shoot calls for it.

I carried the K-3/18-135 combo on a nice little hike yesterday. It was all I needed!

They used to limit free accounts to 200 photos which is why I originally got a pro account. I have a lot of photos there so I guess I'll keep paying. Not unreasonable and everyone needs to make a buck somehow.

Hoping for a banger sunrise I went out to this spot this morning. It didn't quite work out how I was envisioning, but it still wasn't bad.

It's pretty popular with skiers and mountain bikers. I can't say I never mix those activities but there are also times when it's not the right approach for the situation (evaluating avalanche conditions, for example). Also, since it's gone pretty mainstream here, there have been many strains identified that have different, specific effects. Some make you feel like you describe, like you can't get out of bed. People use that type for relaxation or even insomnia. But others are more energizing and can give users improved focus. That's more the kind to bring on the bike or skis if that's your thing. I know it seems counterproductive, but in the right setting I have to admit it can be pretty enjoyable.
I'm pretty sure it's not being used as a performance enhancer. More of an experience enhancer.

I feel the same way except for my inherited film gear collection. But anything I bought to be used should get used or go!

---------- Post added 10-31-18 at 07:29 AM ----------

I'm excited to receive something new that isn't directly related to photography but will be used in the process, I'm sure.
A new pair of light touring ski boots that are designed for going up as much as going down. I've been on my old ones for most of a decade so it should be a good upgrade!

I used to race mountain bikes a bit when I was younger but just ride for fun now. I do ok on the uphills but there is always someone faster. On the downhills I have a little better chance of being faster than most but the really fast guys still smoke me.
And speaking of smokes, this being Colorado it's interesting how many successful competitive mountain bikers smoke weed. Doesn't seem to slow them down!

I just slipped out for a little while last night when this sunset started looking like it was going to happen. Glad I did! (x-post)
This lens sure is nice for this kind of shot.
