The price factor is really unfair. Before the disaster happened in Japan, the street price for 7d was about 1399-1450. That makes it much more 'Deal' than k5. I really dont like 7d's IQ. but it is very controversy that the k5 has higher overall score than 7d.

Limited K5 is 1599 with free shipping on Pentax website. You can preorder it. It is listed for 1699 both at BH and Adorama.

Toss a coin? I guess that's how you chose the K7, didn't you? It is common sense to do the comparison before consumers make decisions for what to buy. I don't know what's wrong with this. Is the d7k a better camera than K5? I am not sure about this. I have not seen any serious comparison review for those two cameras. The only thing I can say about K5 is: It is the best 135 DSLR from Pentax so far in my opinion. Maybe a little bit too expensive......

Not really. I got 30 confirmation letters this morning. I had to send a email to them to let them cancel the duplicates. :fedup:
I guess my credit card cannot afford 50000 purchase. :(:(

I don't expect Nikon d7000 to be a better camera than k5 since it is 400 dollars cheaper than k5. Actually, D7000's performance should not even get close to k5. People don't pay 400 more for nothing.

I just don't understand why Pentax was doing this. I talked two of my friends into buying new K5 Kits. However, the high price scared them away. They just bought Nikon d7000 instead last week. Pentax has the most stupid marketing people in the world.

I have to sell these three great lenses to fund the new camera that I just purchased from Adorama. They are all in excellent condition. I have filters on them all the time. There are no noticeable marks or scratches on the lens body either. Maybe some tiny little wear on the lens caps or hood from the regular use. That is about it. Sale includes everything comes with the original box. No filter included.
