I didn't do that because the site is too confusing to figure out. I didn't know there were galleries and albums and whatever else and I don't have time to learn the differences. As far as I've ever known there was only 1 way to post for contests - by responding to the link in the email announcement. I assumed those pictures went into some archive that eventually was deleted.
I don't know what PYP is or how to send a PM here. I'll upload the picture here and if it gets in the contest, great. If not, no big deal.

Thanks. You might as well delete all my pictures.
Because my quota was full I couldn't enter the April contest and all the work I did was a waste of time. It's not worth the effort if I have to keep asking for them to be deleted to enter the contests. And I'm not going to donate to get more space just for the remote possibility of winning a $50 gift certificate.

Thank you to everyone for all your responses. The consensus seems to be that off-brand single use batteries are cheap junk.

My Pentax K-2000 uses 4 AA batteries. I typically use rechargeable batteries but sometimes put in single use batteries as a backup if the rechargeables have run down. But some brand new single use batteries don't work with my camera - it won't turn on. I haven't tested this thoroughly but it seems like store brand or off brand don't work but the major ones do.
Does anyone else have this issue? Can anyone explain why? They fit in the camera and make contact just fine.
