Hey rawr,

Thanks for the insights!
It feels certainly as a feature race but nevertheless it is worth testing in order to completely understand the full capacity of the K1! Makes me want to seek the darkest of the darkest and test this thing out! ;)

As a amateur I keep the ISO as low as possible and up it only when needed. But I am still learning. :-)

Anyway, is there a situation imaginable where one would use max ISO 819200??

Hello Lev,

I have bought my K1-II last weekend while there was a promotion sale. Until now I didn't have much time to experiment with it but my first experience is only positive!
The versatility and quality of this machine is just amazing!

Starting with a Pentax K1000 and going up with a K50, the next step up to the K1-II seemed only logic to me, a Pentax fan. :-)
I still consider myself as an photographic amateur but I am eager to go out and learn more about this camera!

I like the last crop than the first version! It is a nice spot to capture some moths some day. I wish the best of luck for that!

A true example of the art of photography: framing a moment or object in time and space which is in itself already art! :)

Great job and good to have took some time thinking about a good frame and angle!

Nice effect you have there!

Is this cropped? I think personally there should have been more top space.
Where was this taken?

It isn't easy to work with multiple models but you did perfectly well...! :D

What I like about this picture is that they are looking towards something outside of the frame. So with my imagination I can add an extra dimension to it.

Hey,

This is a unique picture of the Rakotzbrücke seeing the conditions in which you took it. A quick search in Google Images gives me pictures with a reflection forming a circle. My idea is to push your creativity and make something unique. In your case the ice on the water plus the b+w-rendering makes it that more haunting!

So nice work!
