Clarity, color, composition... no star blur yet long stream blur of the water. Lighting does not burn out the grass or rocks and is even across the highlighted area.

I am confused about the nomination process. First, how to you "like" a picture? Second, there were a couple of photos I liked but thought needed improvement and left suggestions but did not nominate. Are they automatically nominated because I left a post? Are "like"s counted because there are many I like but do not understand how to "like"?

Great Sun shot. I love how you captured the colors in the morning shadows and your composition is very well done. This picture definitely has that cold morning feel to it. Great job!

This thing that draws the interest to this photo is the unusual uniforms. Had they been the standard khakis I feel the interest would wane. That being said, I think the sun is your enemy here. It somewhat washes out the background and causes the uniforms to be in shadow. A fill light or reflector could help. I am thrown a little off balance by the composition. Perhaps pan a little left and down not cut off the fingers. It didn't help have the person on the extreme left in the picture. It is and interesting photo and does have a story feel to it. I like your perspective.

I nominate this picture for it's technical excellence, it's clarity, sharpness and composition. The reflection is remarkable as is the splash. Fantastic capture. How many frames and drips did you have to go through to catch this image?
