That guy is not a fan of anything, but his opinion :). Everything he is saying IS LAW... and angry law!

Bottom line, none of them is stupid per say. They at least have the basics, is just that they tend to be very opinionated and arrogant about their views. Personally I would not consider them reviewers... I see them more as an entertainment act.

Ken is actually a smart cookie in a way. He even mentioned that the website for him is a business. So he posts a lot of stuff just to be there even if sometimes he never actually held that specific camera/lens, but he still posts a review about it... more content, more clicks... etc... business in the end. And that's why he is a clickbait lol.

The angry photographer has more knowledge but he is way too arrogant and annoying. Sometimes he is goofing up way too much and the personal attacks he makes on others are usually not well founded.

Froknow is like the clown of them 3 (less knowledgeable and amusing). But at least he always shoots raw and he NEVER CROPS... XD.

Froknow is a little smarter than Ken, I will give him that... but nothing more lol.
Actually I take that back, he is not smarter, but at least he is actually a photographer and making money out of it.

Oh and there is one more guy... that "angryphotographer" or something like that!?... Man, that is another character...

Lol I remember reading that long time ago...

The problem is that you cannot put his personal opinions aside since his personal opinion goes in almost anything he says... is hard to believe or take as true any kind of specs he might have about any kind of gear. So rather than have a chance and get the wrong info, I much prefer to just steer clear and try and find my information somewhere else.
Anyway, that is just my personal opinion about the guy... some love and even defend him...

Every link towards that site I treat it as a "clickbait". This guy and the froknow guy... I avoid them like plague!

And that is the part that I will never understand... why someone who likes something thinks the whole world should be like that? What works for one doesn't mean it works for everyone - the sooner we accept this, the sooner we will go back to a happy life :D.

I love options and diversity... give them all to me. I don't mind.

I'm really curious if way back then, when the first SLR made is apparition on the market - and the twin reflex cameras were the biggest (physically as well) thing ever - people had the same "wars" of what is better? Or did they just enjoyed the extra option and just took photos and enjoyed life as photographer as it was?

I think a lot of you are getting to hang up into the this versus that and you forget to just enjoy the process...
Who cares what camera you are using if YOU GET the results YOU WANT? Like it or not, at the end of the day, your results speak more than the gear you are using.

I think today's cameras will have an even more worst feature than those hunk of metals (film cameras) that are sitting on the shelf gathering dust. At least those old film cameras are becoming work of arts. These new cameras are just basically another entertainment unit that you are going to change in 3-4 years when the new model comes out...

No point in upgrading. My W7Pro works flawless.
And if they stop supporting W7 only 5 years from now is no biggie... in the next 3-4 years I'm due to a computer upgrade anyway :).

That was actually the FF that was about come out, but then the aliens abducted the plans and the prototype. Humankind could not handle that camera since the volume was turned all the way to 11.

Surprised you have a picture of it... those are extremely, rare. Should sell prints of it on eBay. You will be an instant billionaire - btw, I only request a merely 10% of your earnings since I give you the idea ;)!

I highly doubt they kept the prism... by the looks of the new model, the new prism is most probably bigger...

Impossible to keep the form factor of the original prototype unless they would of went mirror-less... you can thank that to the progress of technology. I bet the original prototype didn't even dream of IBIS or tilting/swiveling screen... or bigger screen... and so on and so forth...

Good luck with that... by the rumors, the mount might of been crippled some more... but then again those are rumors. We will see what's what once we finally get some official specs.

Not sure how inspections are over there, but here, is an OBD inspection - they don't connect anything to the exhaust. So that trick with warming up the car is not really working :). Is all about what the car's computer is telling to the testing computer.

"lenspen" is a great product... even the ebay stuff is very good... and cheap. I buy them in bulk every 2 years or so and last for a long time.
I always have one with me in the bag.

There are quite a few like that I have seen and... I will be honest... I would buy one if they would be on the market with at least an aps-c sensor :).
I love those old bodies. I have quite a few at home (one of them shows in my avatar <<< ).

This one is pretty cool too:

Usually there is a very simple answer... if you are not happy with your gear, you will inevitably not enjoy what you are doing and have poor results. So, if you love your gear and enjoy using the "whatever technology/brand name", you will be a better photographer.

Technology makes things more enjoyable. It will not necessary make you better at something specifically... but it can create the right mood and in the end that is what will make you "better".

I don't own it, but I've been reading about it. Seems like people that own it love it quite a lot. I was looking into purchasing one.

Personally I ended up getting this one instead (the tentacles look like kind of drove me away) - please note that this version is for Sony cameras, not Pentax (there are others for Pentax as well):

I think they stop making them... on BH website it shows as no longer available.

But... there are plenty of new and quirky film cameras in the lomography camp...
http://shop.lomography.com/ca/cameras/camera-best-sellers

Actually there is one that I kind of like, but I would never pay that kind of price for it...

And this seems to be a very cool thing for panoramas

I would love the come back of film... I still love film... a modern LX, MX body will be nice (as long as they still keep the metal body). But I also think a modern spin on them will ruin them. I still like film cameras for what they are and I am not sure I will embrace the new technology on film bodies.
