I think it's time for me to get some new legs. My CF Benro Adventure 3 series TAD37C keeps having issues with the leg connections that I have fixed it before. Last night while shooting it came apart between a couple of sections. Annoying and I want something more dependable. I still like my head which is a Benro knockoff of the RRS ball head but with a real RRS clamp on it.
I found this size worked well. The blurb says Weighing just 4 lbs. and able to hold up to 30.9 lbs., the TAD37C can extend from a minimum height of 25" up to 63.6".
I think 3 sections is a good number and I like lever locks over twists for the visual confirmation they provide but there seem to be more twist lock options. I'd consider quality twist locks too.
What MF-class legs are you guys enjoying that are in the ballpark of my old ones? I can pay more than the Benro cost now but if I don't have to all the better.
Extra points if I can get it in my hands quickly. Wildflowers are starting to go off around here.

Yesterday evening I decided to take a drive into the hills and check on this patch of flowers. I'd say it's looking pretty good!
I also wanted to try out my new GFX 1.4x TC. Having that and the 100-200 gets me to 280mm which I'm hoping is close enough to not have to carry my heavy 645 300mm as much. IQ seems plenty good for my needs, even a little better than that 300 which is pretty good but not great.

I got a GFX 1.4x TC for my native 100-200 lens on that system. It was pretty expensive but I'm hoping my back will appreciate one less large heavy lens in the pack.
I'm hoping this will allow me to carry the Pentax 645 A* 300/4 + GFX adapter a lot less as the 1.4x takes the 100-200 up to 280mm at the long end.

I was on my bike without a tripod hand-holding at ground level. I know the app can be handy but also not practical the way the K-1 screen is in the same type of situation. I can work around it but I'd prefer not to.

A couple from last night's bike ride.
For this macro shot I really would have liked a flip screen. I think that is the one thing truly lacking from this otherwise great camera.

Looks great! I've been considering a lens like that Laowa, mostly because I can't seem to get my native GFX lenses in focus when it is truly dark. The screen and viewfinder are too grainy to tell what is going on and there is no infinity marking or stop on the lenses. The shift feature would be handy too as you have demonstrated.

I got a new lens for my GFX, a 35-70 which is considered the kit lens. I had this range covered with the 32-64 already but that lens is huge and heavy and my copy is occasionally flaky. If the 35-70 seems to be working out I'll be unloading the 32-64 soon. As a bonus, B&H had it on sale for $500 which is the price if you also buy a camera body. Normally it's $1000 on its own.

Well I took the plunge on some Kase KW Revolution filters (82mm with an adapter ring for the 62mm siz). They are a new model and expected to take a few weeks to arrive but I'll report back on what my impressions are. Thanks for all the ideas and info!

Thanks. I'll look into these options. I've heard of all these before but never paid very close attention.
Ed, do you use the magnetic system? That seems nice if well implemented.

I have a kit (GFX 50r) with 4 lenses, and they have three different filter sizes.
20-35mm has 82mm
32-64 has 72mm
35-70 has 62mm
100-200 has 67mm
and my Pentax A* 300 has a 72mm
I have a 72mm variable ND that is not bad and I have been using it on the 32-64 but I think I'm going to get rid of that lens (and keep the 35-70 which is smaller) and I never use a ND on the 300.
I'm tempted to get 82mm filter(s) and step up/down rings but that may not be the best solution.
Is there a square filter system that might cover all these lenses? Realistically the 62 and 82 sizes are the ones I would use with a filter the most nut those are also the min and max filter sizes.
Got any good suggestions for me? Thanks!
