Thanks, no, I don't have a need for a new FF and as far I can tell that camera is more geared toward video shooters, which I don't do. As for FF Foveon, maybe someday, not in a rush.

I absolutely love DP-M series and based on all reviews out there I don't have an issue with camera's speed at all. Battery life is another story. If Sigma made a battery grip for those small cameras it would have been the product I'd pay a lot for.....even if it was half the camera cost.

My Sigma collection.

SD Quattro H, DP1, DP2M and DP3M.
Add on optical viewfinder makes a big difference, especially for manual focus.

Olympus Rumours

This is my opinion on the whole thing..... The bigger you are the harder you fall, like Kodak (same might be true for Nikon as well). I like Olympus and have a few but I'm not a brand loyalist or fanatic. Pentax and Olympus were my first door in to photography but as much as I like them, I discovered many other great cameras from other companies, including Sony and Sigma. The thing is, there will always be some good cameras regardless if some fail, if anything survival or the fittest is true in business world just as it is in animal one. But with all that, I really don't believe Olympus cameras are done just yet. If the company continues, one day they might rethink and revive their camera sector, if the company completely falls then that's a different story.

Well, if it's only 5% then they can completely neglect it and it wouldn't matter.

Not really.... the reason has nothing to do with mirrorless or dslr. It has everything to do with Sony's FF camera (A7) used market and Fujifilm x series.
Olympus sales are down because they are priced in that same range but with a smaller sensor.
Most don't like smaller sensor, especially hobbyists who like pro equipment. That is just how people are for the most part.
I own one Olympus mirrorless and four of their DSLR's. I like Olympus but I also like and own other brands. If Pentax made a FF mirrorless I'd be in line to get one and I own 20 something camera's.
I mainly shoot with manual glass and I'd take mirrorless over dslr any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Zenit? I've yet to see on one for sale.

Few more from Zenitar.
All wide open.......This lens really shines at night or low light, not so much at sunlight.
There are a few negative reviews of this lens, as I suspected they are bs, simple as that (or some lemon).
No other lens I can think of is as good as this one at 0.95.
Wide open it's as sharp or more so then Leica version and focus peaking works 100% accurate on my A7 II. If everything is not static then yes, it's easy to miss focus but that's the case with all other fast lenses.
Excellent fit and finish (as mentioned) and flare resistance? Well, it's still a 0.95, not made to shoot in to sunlight.
Yes, it is big and heavy but I'm o k with that, it's not meant for hickin
. And for me it's not even noticeable.
I don't do video and I'd prefer a clickable aperture, that is the only minor negative I can say about it.

Got new Russian lens today... Zenitar f0.95/50mm
Big and heavy for a 50 but it's so worth it imo. Compared to Leica that costs 10k, this is dirt cheap that I paid for ($560). I'm actually very impressed on the sharpens wide open, I excepted it be reasonably sharp at 1.4 but not at 0.95.
It's bigger and heavier then anything Chinese in this aperture range but it's also a superior lens by far. Excellent fit and finish, very smooth focus, zero internal dust.
On Sony A7 II

Typical Soviet dual aperture blade design. (as on Helios 40 or Jupiter 6).

Few test pic's.
All at f0.95

As expected, the camera is best used outdoors on under ISO 200.
Few shots indoors, camera was struggling with color, casting a lot of green tint.
Soviet 1.8/100 projector lens (no aperture).

With this lens and much higher iso Sony A7 series would run circles around this camera. Still, I think it's worth every penny and then some.
One thing I've noticed about this camera, it generates a LOT of heat, especially around the lens mount.

It's third or so version of mass produced SLR Jupiter 9's. It came right after identical body silver version. Most are very good and sharp wide open. Lens hood is recommended (shorter one on full frame).
For the value and optical performance, it's probably the best 85mm out there.

In my experience with Jupiter 9's..... The only bad version of is the 90's MC one. Most are very soft wide open and no that is not a made that way with intent (regardless of what some might say), something quality or miss-align construction went bad and they just ran with it. 80's MC versions are very sharp wide open and they have the same optical formula.
Had about 30 or so Jupiter 9's at one time or another. Never had a stuck aperture.
