I see why someone likes this camera for its new grip, but bloody hell: what is that prism plastic cover for? Complete bollocks.

User proficiency certainly adds to AF performance. Just about a week ago I went to see a friend and tried his Canon 6D. I took rubbish pictures with it as it was probably the first time I tried a Canon camera. I did not know what and how to use. Got me a good deal of time to get close to the desired results.
The whole system felt awkward and counter intuitive to me after using Pentax for so many years. So I guess knowing your gear adds a lot to what you can do with it.

True about the F28mm. I have the 43mm and 77mm. Thought about complementing them with the 31mm Ltd., but I have had the F28mm for a long time and know it is a brilliant lens. I did not see the point spending a lot on the 31mm and having only a slight advantage over the F28.

Hi,

They make compact multi tools for cyclists. I would look at things like these and find out which one suits more.

By the way I am not in any way a representative of the maker of these tools presented here. Just googled for pictures, but there are loads more out there to choose from.

This roll has just come out of my recently acquired Bronica RF645. Got a test roll through it to see spacing is ok. Seems to be a very decent camera. So it is a whole roll posted here, not just one picture... LOL

Proper scans to follow...

Just go light as others say. I tend only to take my LX with the 43mm limited and Fuji X100 pair anywhere I go as tourist. Sinle lens setup forces you to think and very rarely miss shorter or longer focal lenghts to be honest. And the kit is very light.

I was thinking closer or worse than this condition:

Pentax LX FA-1 Eye-Level Prism Viewfinder fits LX Camera | eBay

But it is unreasonably priced at 79 and still functional enough to use it like that.

Unfortunately I missed one recently that was pretty damaged, but would have been ideal for me.

Looking for an FA-1(W) finder in bad condition as far as its see through eye piece is useable. Acquired an FA-1W about a year ago, but previous owner badly scratched the glass eyepiece. Hoping to replace if I can find one that I can salvage parts from.
Possibly from UK or Europe to make postage easier.

Thanks for your post. I used to have a Fujifilm GA645 medium format camera that looks very similar. Good to see all these quiet projects.

They had a few pretty mad stunts, but survived. I would not be their insurance company though. Or their mother...
