Just found out about this lens club from your recent post on the MF forum. It's a shame I see a lot more P67 activity on fb forums than here.
Regarding the sample images, I must say I prefer the 67 150mm shots with the 645Z over the 67 105/2.4 ones, even though it's not the most highly regarded optic of the system and the latter is known for its mythical status. It's a nice surprise. I really like those pictures. Reasons for this could be overexposure on the 105 ones, like the one of the truck with the 165 and K-1, which I think is not up to par with the other gorgeous ones in the series.
I'd like to know if you used a lens shade with any of them and also the lens versions. Coatings can make a huge difference.

Any other must have Russian medium format lenses?

I've seen a lot of Russian projector lenses being adapted to medium format. But that's a rather deep rabbit hole to dive into.

Weird question re. 645 and 67 mount adaptation

You could perhaps mount the optical unit of the 67 converter into an 645 extension tube or helicoid.

Oh, Gawd.

I reckon I've used hyperfocal distance only to find later badly focused shots because I inadvertently moved the focus ring somehow.

I'd love to compare yours with my K 135/2.5. I guess they are trade offs. One has wider aperture, better corrected, modern optics and the other all metal construction and buttery smooth operation.

Why was the aperture simulator scrapped, and can it come back?

It was removed because of gradual improvements and forward thinking, e.g. the aperture of newer A, F, FA lenses could be controlled from the body with a dial, like for shutter priority (Tv) or program modes. One less moving part just means better reliability, aka one headache less.
Perhaps an optical readout would be a better modern solution instead of previous designs with a variable resistor, some with chains (like the P67, which is known to get damaged by inexperienced user error).
In any way, this would also mean spending resources and manpower in a feature only manual lens users of the first K and later M series lenses would enjoy. As much as I'd also like a camera with this feature, the resources are better spent somewhere else. And for a weather sealed body to have this feature kind of negates its purpose. They would have to release a companion to the K-1/K-1ii/Knext the way Nikon did with the Df, which wasn't a huge commercial success like the K-1 was, which would also mean that the camera would have to be sold at a premium price because of its low numbers, kind of like a small and compact, non-AW/WR limited edition M-D, only for those who exclusive shoot K and M glass. You see, it wouldn't be a cheap piece of kit.

Cool stripes! Very hard to capture and they tend to turn around when they face you to be ready for a quick getaway. Ergo, face shots are hard to get.

For both film and DSLR with AF, why not the F or FA 135/2.8?
Third party options would be the Sigma DG lenses or the Tamron 90 macro. The latter has a good reputation for portrait work.

This could sound pretty whack, but pairing an A 1.2/50 with the 1.7x AF converter could be a solution, too. You'd have a 2.04/85 AF assisted MF lens. [emoji28]

You're right. It has it's place. My complaint is about images that end up loosing all its contrast and looking completely flat and baked; overprocessed. Landscapes that have absolutely no shadows whatsoever. It's also the reason I like yours, this particular slide like rendering. Cheers!

Lovely sunstar, morning haze and harvester shots, guys!
Because it's a good lubricant AND conductive.
The best option would be a dedicated graphite powder or suspension, but a #2 pencil will do the trick.
