CPL for DA Ltds 21mm/41mm/70mm

I use Hoya CPL with 21mm and 70mm, no vignetting. I noticed that I get a higher chance of producing a lens flare with the CPL attached.

DA21mm Limited or Tamron 17-50mm f2.8?

I just came from Death Valley National Park, used only the DA21 lens and never thought of using any other lens. Carrying it does not feel like a chore especially on hikes.

Questions about K100D Super External Flashes

I am not familiar with AF540, I use a dumb flash and never had an issue with the shutter speed. Is the flash set to some sync mode perhaps?

The max sync should be 1/180. As for wireless, the built-in flash cannot trigger the af540, you need another external flash(af360 or af540) mounted on the camera or use a radio flash trigger.

I've gone to several places with just the DA21 and didn't miss any other lens. But I usually bring either 21+70 or 21+50-200.

DA 15mm Limited

I wonder if it is going to be like the case of DA35 macro. It took them over a year to release that lens. I guess its better late than never or worst a bad performing lens. Come to think of it the 60-250 was also announced at the same time as the DA35, DA200, and DA300 and it is still not out.

I think they will eventually release a fisheye DA Limited style I just dont know if this is the one. And if they do the DA Limited will be an awesome lineup; a fisheye, a macro and several pancake primes.

Taking photographs "without aesthetical value" is reported to DHS!

I think that article is a joke. LA is one of the most liberal state in the country, and its population is so diverse it is hard to single out a tourist.

But I have to admit I am shy lugging around my camera, its not that I am afraid of the cops, I fear I might be mistaken for a paparazzo.

The images below are taken inside and outside of LAX, photographs "without aesthetical value" :o

Trouble with Exposure Time

You can check the exposure even if you are using the M mode. There is a number on the right of the aperture if you look through the viewfinder. The range of that no is from 3.0 to -3.0, if the no is positive it means your setting will over expose the shot, negative will under expose the shot. If the no is blinking it is over 3 stops under/over exposed. That no should be 0 if you want a balanced exposure.

You can try using Tv instead. Control the shutter lag and let the camera decide the aperture.

The memory stick was first released in 1998. Sony has integrated this on every product that can use additional storage. It is a time tested format. If ever they discontinue the card format they will discontinue support to hundreds of their products like PDA, video camera, P&S camera, cellphone, PSP, MP3 player.

Thanks.

I was never really into horse racing. I just saw a TV commercial and thought Id do something different for a change. I ended up donating some money I was going to use to buy a bag. Had a blast though.

Any SouthEast Wisconsin Pentaxians?

I've been in Wisconsin once on a business trip. I really love the place specially the small town of La Crosse. Madison is a nice college town.
I miss the deep fried cheese curds and the cow pie. I wish I can go back there again and stay longer.

I got the 383 Super because of the swivel head, the 1/8 manual setting and cheaper by $10 (new price Amazon). Works great with v2s. I wish it had 1/32 and 1/64 so I dont have to cover it with white paper.

I just hate to see a good lens unused. $45 is what I bought it for, I am not making a profit. The front cap is a push cap for a Vivitar lens but I will throw in a skylight filter for free.

$45 + shipping.
