Thanks Cliff

It is a beautiful place and some areas not easily go to, but when you get there, you feel as if you can just point the camera anywhere and it will come out nice. But it is windy, dusty cold, foggy, hot and sandy. So you get stuck as well

When I was at high school wayyy back I drooled over the Nikon F4 SLR's of the day. A family member had to take a accompany a patient from Namibia to the Old Eastern Germany and on my insistence bought a camera there. It was a Practika, which used 42 mm Pentax mount and was my first SLR. My next SLR was a Ricoh K5 that also used the screw mount lenses and I for B&W I got a K1000 and was hooked. Then graduated to a MZ50 with bayonet mount and since I had some lenses when I started with DSLR it was the K20 and then the K5 and now the KP. I cannot see myself moving away from Pentax/Ricoh soon

At 18 mm with the KP

Old small gauge railway line used during the diamond rush in the 1930's. Has been rusting away in the coastal winds ever since

End of the street?

I do not know what the story is behind this car. Probably caught fire from grass in a good season that got stuck on the exhaust system, but what was this was doing on this lone desert highway far from anywhere?
