You could also visit pawn shops and used item stores, there are sometimes very interesting items for sale. Sometimes nice lenses comes with an older film camera, but if the price is right it does not matter.

Thank you all for looking and commenting. I dont know what it was, school, church or what else, but there are quite a few of them in the area. I always wonder what they did for water in these low temperatures and heat - there are very few trees around here.

I must say: this is a great website! I really enjoy it here, lots to read and learn, I actually appreciate my own pictures better since I started reading this forum. I always knew I suck when it comes to composition, but I see other people carry on and take the picture and enjoy it, even though it may not be a prize-winning picture. I think that is the whole idea, live and learn and enjoy it! It still bothers me though that I have to take about 100 pictures to get one good one!

Thank you to all and the site!

There are lots of these old disused buildings around our area. They have something about them. To capture that atmosphere is not easy, at least for me.
PP work done in PSP, mainly cropping, B&W conversion, sharpening.
50mm f1.4 lens; 1/60; f4.5; iso 100
Thanks for looking.

I took this one over the weekend, it is a boatramp toward the river. I took two streetlights out, but left the flare from the sun. Other than that I quite like the picture.
Pentax F 28-80mm; 1/180; f19; ISO 100.
Comments, suggestions, condemnations, all will be appreciated. That is the only way I can learn.
Regards, Francois
