Nice shots there Charlie:) It is surprising that it is still that intact. Around here the prop would be gone for sure and anything else along with it. Then it would be torn up and "Tagged" for the Heck of it. It would be A LOT of sand blasting all the old lead based paint for sure along with all that rust. How far from the water is it by the way:) It might be a task to move that much iron for sure.

Yes You are both right, But I am so use to Calling My "PET" squirrels "HER" I do believe this is one of MISS TWINKY"S offspring. He is not nearly as camera shy as mom. There were a couple of times in the last few weeks when they were both at the feeder at the same time and as soon as she saw me ,she took of to the trees. I will try to be more Gender specific in the future. Thanks for making the obvious well obvious!!

This little one showed up while I was taking some shots with a lens that I pretty much I had forgotten all about. I think I bought it in early '80s when I got he ME Super. It was in a box along with some old prints and a Starbust 500mm mirror lens. I think I might use it again as I was surprised:) at the results. I don't think I paid more than $ 35.00 or so for it. I have not tried the Starbust as it needs a "T" adapter and don't have one right now.

I was out taking a couple of shots of passenger jets to see what I could do with the "NEW" to me Tamron Adaptall 31-A lens with the 1.4 F teleconverter when I saw these fly by and snapped a few quick shots. I could barely see them with my old eyeballs:) as it was quite bright at the time.. The EXIF data is not quite right as I have a PK adapter on this lens, not a PK/A as it will not send correct data either. I think 700mm and F-16 and 1/500 is closer to it. I really need to use a tripod when using this lens as the six pounds it weighs is really hard to hand hold and get any thing close to decent.

These were taken during a dry spell last month. Look's like we will finish the tear as the third wettest on record only about 3/10'ths behind second . It looked like they really moving fast , but maybe they were because they were gone in less than twenty minutes.

Riggomatic, The caution tape is for the delivery drivers so they don't trip over the Christmas Lighting as in years past. Miss Twinky just looked a little bewildered by it all

Miss Twinky had not been around for almost a week and I was beginning to think my neighbor had made good on a promise:(. She showed up the first week of December and as is well with her.:) When she returned a couple of days latter she had a look of surprise at all the obstacles that had been placed in her way:D She still managed to overcome the slight inconvenience and find her favorite!! Sunflower Seeds  She was under the watchful eye of Pi Kitty for part of her time back

Well I have been busy lately , and so has Miss Twinky and friend. After all the rain last week, about 15" here:( it was time to get ready for Winter. The neighbors "Otis" across the street and Twinky were busy harvesting acorns and burying them in our flower beds. I have only seen her at the feeder one time last week and that was during a break in the rain.

Nothing wrong with that except to maybe crop out the water splashing up one the right side as it is a little distracting. What part of the 'Glades and keep an eye out for snakes , especially the big ones!
