If you are using the for off camera flash go with a manual flash. No need to spend the amount of money on one flash when you can have 2-3 flashes plus trigger for the same amount of money.

Go with the Youngnuo 560 IV, it has built in transceiver where with the 560II you'll have to buy receivers.
Then get yourself a TX 560 so you can fire them off camera.

K5 II or K5 IIs on Trip?

I would take one of the K-5 II and 18-135, DA40 (its too small not to take) and DA12-24.
I just got back from 12 Days in Mexico City/Chiapas, I took my K5 II,18-135 and DA40 with me. I used the 18-135 90% of the time, and the DA40 for candids/one handed operation while drinking coffee or eating on the go. i only wished i had something wider for architecture shots.
I promised myself next time I traveled to somewhere similar I would have something wider, hence the Sigma 10-20 I just acquired off the forum.
Hope this helps.

What would you recommend? Low light action shots. Is it possible on a TIGHT budget?

I highly recommend the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson to get you shooting manual. https://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Exposure-Fourth-Photographs-Camera/dp/1...nding+exposure

And i also highly recomend getting an F50 1.7, it was my first AF prime and my favorite go to lens for low light and and second favorite for portraits. (first being DA*50-135)

I am currently on vacation in Mexico City, and I was wondering if there is a way to upload RAW pics to Amazon Prime cloud by using IPhone and SD to lighting cable?
Thanks in advance!

I'm on vacation in Mexico City at the moment and Brought with me my K-5 II with 18-135, DA40xs and F50 1.7.
I have used the 18-135 about 60% of the time and the 40xs the rest of the time. The 40 is great for street portraits, people aren't as intimidated by it. The 50 has stayed in the hotel/ condo so far.
I would recommend a 10-20, which is the only thing I feel lacking, which I plan on purchasing when I get back home.
I could have probably gotten by with three lenses 10-20, F28 and DA40 or F50.
Hope that helps.

Edit. In your shoes I would take Da15 and DA40. That will probably get you more than 80% of your shots and 135 just in case.

I agree go with another K3 or K3II so it becomes second nature when you go to pick up either camera. When I first started I used a K5 and K-x
With 16-50 and 50-135 and it was kind of a PITA to have to use a K-x because you have to think before you take the shot.
Now I use a K5 II/16-50 with Cactus RF 60 and K5 IIs/50-135 with Cactus V6 strapped to a black rapid double, and it is such a pleasure to not have to second guess anything, it just becomes 2nd Nature.

Pentax K-1 IN STOCK at Adorama

So I got on the phone with B&H this morning and the rep told me that they K-1 I had preorderd on 4/11/16 would be shipping out on 6/1/16.
So I canceled the order and placed an order with Adorama because they were in "stock and ready to ship" only to notified a couple hours later that they were out of stock. Oh well I'll just have to cancel that order too and wait until they have a full supply of them so I won't have to go through these headaches again.

Yeah, everything that is needed is included. The Cactus RF 60 flash has a V6 transceiver built into it, meaning it can control and trigger other Cactus RF 60s as well as V6s and V5 (can't change settings only fire V5)

I suggest reading the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson to get you started shooting in manual mode. I love the way he breaks down the basics in a way that is very easy to understand.

Good luck on your photographic journey and I hope to see some pics soon.
