Ivan, try varying your aperture opening a little more, like using f/2.8, f/4 and f/5.6. The DFA 50 mm f/2.8 MACRO peaks @ f/5.6. You might like the result. Receive my Best Regards |

By the way, I am also using my 645 FA* 300 mm f/4 on my K-mount cameras too (K1 and K3 III) with the Pentax adapter. I have a copy of the FA* 300 mm f/4.5 in K-mount also : VERY SHARP @ f/8. K1 + K FA* 300 mm f/4.5 K3 III + 645 FA* 300 mm f/4 + adapter |

Welcome to the "VIBRANT" club ... I set my 645Z to this color palette and everybody kept telling me my images were "oversaturated" and one (Wheatfield) even said they looked "garish". I think they have no taste for really beautiful and punchy imaging ... LOL ! As to the 645 FA* 300 mm f/4, my copy is really good but requires a solid tripod and between f/8 and f/16 to really shine : |

THX ! Mr Robitaille has a machine to make big round bales. He puts the bales in white plastic sheeting and stores them near the barn. This way of handling hay causes big losses due to molding (up to 25 %) but it's all mechanized. Try to find a farmer who used to produce ordinary square bales and handle them by hand who does not complain of having a terrible backache ... LOL ! Best Regards |

THX !! Living near such a splendid watercourse is a gift, really. Every day brings something different and always so beautiful. I enjoy life like never before, with all the woes we all had to live through in the last 30 months. Best Regards |

We lost a full hour of daylight in the morning. Now the sun appears right behind the big Pine I see from my kitchen window. No two days are the same, clouds diffuse sunlight and create an original color palette. HD DA 55-300 mm ED lens zoomed between 170 and 300 mm @ f/11. I stood for 20 minutes in the patio door watching the light show, savoring every second of it. Very sharp images from this amazing 26 Mpx new sensor. |

Hello,
Yes, I'm doing good. Too bad you never see snow. Try using a longer exposure time with a Polarizer or a Neutral Density filter to capture the movement of raindrops. Backlighting or sidelighting will surely affect the picture visually.
Best Regards Starting to rain |

Are there some glass elements in your 'Pentax to Sony' adapter ? Maybe these really degrade the rendering of the P67 165 mm f/2.8 tele. This lens is a JEWEL when used on a 51 Mpx 645Z, so ... P67 165 mm f/2.8 @ f/5.6 |

THX ! A magnificent pristine watercourse where my maternal grandfather used to fish to feed his family. I still have an extensive array of Minolta cameras and MD lenses from my former argentic era. They sold to Sony so there is a little bit of Minolta in every Sony camera ... Regards |

The original full-resolution image is a beauty to behold ! The DA* 50-135 mm f/2.8 zoom was set at 75 mm FL and f/8 and the K3 III was mounted on a heavy tripod. Perfect combination with early morning summer light. |

Hey, not too bad for a 275 year old wood and stone building ! Catholics have deserted their churches so it's not surprising some of the old buildings fall in disrepair. I take pictures of these old "relics" before they all disappear. Regards |

The Parish was founded in 1745 and the Church inaugurated in 1749. Few people still go to Mass except on Easter and Christmas, so they lack the necessary money to maintain these old buildings. Water seeps through the roof and snow loads do the rest each year after year. Regards |
