Thanks so much for your help. The locking ring was turned way out. I imagines it was a quarter turn to release and after I figured out to turn it many times I found it locked down well.

The rear lens cap and the 6x7 to k adapter attach with slop.
Does this lens need a certain thickness 77mm filter to press against the mount? Am I missing a part?
thanks, Teddy

Bring the k1, lights, a tripod and an assistant. Your assistant can carry your gear and help with set up. The larger sensor captures more light. You can make photos suitable for very large high resolution prints.
Or just bring the k3 since no one will no the difference when the best display these shots will be on, is a high resolution monitor.

They say it is "not an exclusivity thing", so make sure the grant of rights says "nonexclusive rights".. That way you can use it yourself, and sell it to another party as well.
Also, they say "which just means we’re allowed to keep the shots in the program", so they do not want to pay for the right to use it outside of the program. You could ask that the rights be "not sublicensable".
Ask them to tell you their usual rates. The value to you exceeds what they pay, if you can write off the cost of your equipment on your income tax.

3 months would eat up 1/4 or the warranty period. :(

I thought it fishy that I got nothing from them until I inquired, and the response to my inquiry was an instant shipping number.

My Pentax 28-105 zoom got sticky under warranty. I sent my lens to Precision Camera Jan. 6th. After 10 days they said they had to send it to the Ricoh-Pentax factory. A month later I asked where it is and they emailed back immediately, saying they just got it back and sent it to me, but UPS doesn't recognize the tracking number they emailed me.
Is something fishy? Will Ricoh extend the warranty for the time they sat on this?
