the interface is so similar I don't see any transition interface. Just the the AF speed and ISO is much better than K-7, my F-50mm 1.7 is very usable on k-3 while so difficult to focus on K-7. Auto white balance of K-3 is very accurate. I even don't bother switch to other white balance mode. Well, lots of people looking forward of the FF. I am happy to go with my k-3 for another few years.

I got my K3 this afternoon too. I am playing with it whole night and love it. Much better than my loved K-7 which has been with me more than four years.

I love it! I am usually the grumpy old guy in the team, but truth is that surviving legacy technology survived for a reason. The same is true for camera features and interface. I would simply love to have a camera whose features were strictly limited to controlling exposure, providing the means to frame and focus, and actually capturing the image.

+1. I don't take photo for money. I enjoy the procedure. It just makes me happier if I could get a good photo with simple tools. I love new tech too. The old gem just help me learn the basics better.

One more, this one is four exposures. K-7's iso is bad. I found that multi-exposure could help reduce the noise.

I have one, I first took a moon with M-200mm, then took the wide angle by da15. As my da15 fell to the ground with the tripod, the image is not very on focus. Just for fun, not a good one though.

thanks all for the reply. I can see that the gap between the hood and the focus ring is different in different direction. I can genteelly pull the hood out and bend it to a special angle the I can move the focus ring relatively easier. I think I can at least manual focus. I love this lens though.

Got my camera with da15 mounted on the tripod and fell to the ground. I just cannot pull out or push the hood in smoothly. I think the focus ring is not perfectly rounded. Any idea to fix it?

thanks
