it's needed for museum archives. but seriously i'm quite shocked after searching info in the net, it appears there is just a small number of trusted products in this category. i guess they'll need to live with a4 scanner, perhaps epson perfection v850 pro will do. any serious alternatives for a4 format?

!thank you for responding. i already looked into Epson 12000 XL Pro as a candidate, but as you said - it's way out of monetary possibilities. a3 is needed for photos, the old glass negatives are rarely larger than size between a5 and a4.

!hi. i was asked to help choosing professional flatbed scanner for photos, films and nonstandart size glass negatives, ideally A3. budget still is unclear, possibly between 1000 and 2000 $. they used epson perfection v750 pro before, so it shold be at least with same specs. i tried to search in the web, but the devil himself can break a leg there. any paricular model suggestions? :)

agreed, the tower is just cold style late socialist office architecture, but it works well in trio for photo just as one of three different styles.

!thank you, torashi. it's Riga, Latvia. but yes, i would like not to have this insurance ad there. building on left is finished, it's just kind of modern architecture, so you never know :) but on this photo is only half of the building. long ago i posted another picture, taken from different location where it's in full size, but with trees obscuring the lower part. official name for this house is "center house", but people call it cukurtrauks - sugar bowl. it's considered one of the ugliest buildings in the city. however i don't have any opinion about that, but it is certainly a good photo subject.
