Taken with the K-S2. Also, in my other shots (not this one), I observed the foliage is better handled by the K-S2 compared when I used the lens with the K-30 and K-x. I used to hate using the Sigma lens when taking photos that have foliage.

Love the composition and the HDR looks very natural!

The very few times that I'm able to take night photos. Taken a day before the blue moon last July.

These kids along with 4 other kids were playing with this agile brown "monster" which they call "Puppy". They would run on the paved roads and on top of the concrete barriers lining the lakeside to escape from Puppy's fury. Else, if Puppy catches them they would get a playful bite on the leg from this "menacing" pup. Three of the kids had the smarts to take refuge on the nearby boat where Puppy has no idea how to get into.

Ken, this is really nice! Is the bridge a direct access (no need for stairs) from Merlion Park?

Specs of K-3II

@Ogunturkay, thank you for the info that there is a new version of the 24mp sensor, so that is why the Nikon D7200 was able to take big improvements in dxomark. That is good news for the Pentax K3 II!

I like what I am seeing in these leak specs. Built-in astrotracer is huge as it is as a standalone equipment costs a lot already. Hoping they at least include built-in wifi or nfc. The removal of on-board flash, I'm a bit divided. I don't use it as much, but when my wireless flash trigger failed me I was able to use the onboard flash as optical slave trigger for my external flash while I was on a shoot. Overall, this new Pentax is a winner!

I will not buy the FF, if _____"

If Pentax finally releases a Weather Sealed DA ultrawide angle lens, I'd be content with APS-C and won't consider buying FF. Note that I mentioned DA lens, cheaper, smaller and optimized for that APS-C sensor size. :)

But then again if FF + FA31 elevates pixie dust to another level...

As I've said with the Audi series. Read again. Besides, these are cars and motorcycles not cameras.

I'm guessing R1. Ricoh would love to take credit of course for bringing back FF to Pentax so a simple "R" prefix would do. Also, it sounds like a race car think about the Audi series. ;-)

Wow! This is amazingly creative! Genius!

It makes me realize I'm just a mere mortal when it comes to photography. I'll second Tamia, that if ever there's a chance I'd be at your area (which is about 1%) I'd like to seriously enroll in one of your classes Mike. Even if it's just to see how you shoot these masterpieces. :)

From what I know it has always been an f1.7 lens. It might be those who offered to replace the missing lens proposing a different kind either an M f1.7 or an A f2.0.

This is a job well done! I love the composition, details and the processing! And again, as I have quoted in one of your posts before I am amazed by the front to back sharpness. :)

Ken, both lovely shots! I am missing shooting in Singapore! Hopefully I can get back there for a vacation at least and shoot in those beautiful places. :)

Adam, don't mind Mistral75's comment, I'm sure he won't win the lens anyway. I think, the PF site is very generous, specially coming from the point of view of someone who lives outside of the US like me. And even if the give-away is just an IR remote control for our Pentax DSLR, I'd even be grateful as these are something you won't accidentally pick-up on the road on a random Saturday photo outing. Here's to more give-aways! :)

I love the tones, colors, shadows and your composition here! And that front to back sharpness is superb! How do you do these? Which part of the scene are you focusing? Which aperture are you shooting? And is this the f3.5 version or variable aperture lens? Sorry for a lot of questions. Thanks!

Thank your for your response! And I agree that glow and that bokeh is awesome! :)

This is amazing as well! Those rounded bokeh and the twinkle on the dog's eyes are lovely!

I guess I need to put my lens through its paces more! Cheers!
