With new firmware update flash works even better than with K-10D. K-30 with updated Metz AF48-1 rocks. Exposures are consistent and correct !

Did you try to remove a battery, it helps sometimes.

I've had this problem and after wiping, cleaning lens and camera contacts, it went away. Try removing the lens and cleaning contacts.

I purchased a lens DA 55-300 from Adorama, following link on the forum, but didn't get a credit. I wrote a PM to moderator (Adam) with shipping confirmation from Adorama, didn't get any reply. Than, I wrote another message with my order #, didn't get any reply again. What is the problem ? Why nothing happening, why you suggest buying stuff trough your links ?

I've installed new 1.02 version and didn't see any difference. Does anyone notice something improved?

I have Metz 48-AF for a few years and it was working just perfect with K-10D, but in August of 2012 I've bought K-30 and flash is very inconsistent. HSS is mostly wrong, under or over exposed. Waiting for a new firmware, compatibility chart of November 2012 in my case is misleading.
