The kit I originally bought had a the 18-55 and an 80-200. I have since sold both and replaced with the sigma 18-250 and a 50mm 1.4. I love this combo as it gives me great range with just 2 lenses.

LOVE my k10, ok I have the Samsung but it's the same thing. I am normally a huge victim of upgraditis but not with this camera so far. The one thing I will be adding is a compact point and shoot for when I don't want to lug the big boy around. I'm leaning towards the new panasonic lx3 for that.

I just sold my 18-55 kit and my 80-200 pentax. I used the money and bought a pentax 18-250. I love this lens! Great walking around lens that cover nearly anything. Next I will be picking up the 50mm 1.4 for mostly low light social situations, (and occasional low-life social situations). After that I will most likely add one of the 2 wide angle zooms mentioned above. I'm fairly new to this as well, bought my GX10 about a year ago. My advice would be to just start shooting with what you have. That way you'll discover what kinds of subjects you most enjoy capturing and what lenses would be best for the job. The 18-250 from Tamron or Pentax is about as good as it gets in terms of bang for buck though.

Jut picked this up yesterday to replace my 18-55 kit lens and my 80-200 lens. So far I love it. It's a fair bit heavier than either of the other two lenses but I much prefer the convenience of not switching lenses all the time. The amount of mechanic movement when zooming the lens is amazing! It more than doubles in length! The AF also seems faster. I'm not sure if it actually is given the GX-10's internal AF design. I did a search a couldn't find anything on this site about the lens. No reviews or anything. Does anyone here own one?

The K20D sounds pretty sweet with lots and lots of functions. Now if only there were some sort of 3rd party guide or book or something to intruct me on how to use my new K20D. hmmm....
