Need a flash recommendation for Pentax KM camera!

I recommend Pentax AF280T. It is more than sufficient for a film KM. Its manual controls are the best match for KM. It is powerful and build quality is high. It is dirt cheap nowadays.

Can modern lenses be used with Pentax MZ-6/MZ-L/ZX-L

My understanding is: Pentax MZ-6/MZ-L/ZX-L fully works with F, FA and DA lens. It also works with D-FA lenses as long as they have the aperture lever (instead of electromagnetic aperture). Electromagnetic apertures are only on latest lenses such as D-FA 50mm 1.4, D-FA 85mm 1.4, and maybe others.

Sorry to hear. Judging from your pictures, yours looks exactly the same as mine. The button has a pin inserting into the hole on the adapter. The other end of the pin (inside the adapter) is larger than the pin itself. I guess this is to prevent the button from falling out. The pin directly pushes against the lever. I don't see any other mechanism. On my adapter, if I move the lever from inside, the button/pin can slide easily through the hole. I think your adapter may have rust at the pin-hole connection. Good luck!

That I don't know. You need to make the lever move by pressing the button - this is how lock/unlock work. If it doesn't work, you could try lubricant.

I compared yours with mine. As long as the lever moves, yours is working fine. The button feels some resistance when pushed. That's normal.

Yes, that is the correct button to un-lock lens. You should be able to push it down even without lens attached. If you look at the inside of the adapter, when you push the button, there's a lever moves slightly. If the button is stiff, try to check if there's any gunk that binds that lever.

K 100d vs k10d

Choose K10d. K10d is way better than k100d. Even today I often like K10d pictures more than some recent models. K100d only has 6MP and is less capable.

You're right - there's no rewind button. It seems it is called "Mid-roll wind-up" button, according to the manual.

It sounds like you can get rid of the "E" but the problem came back, right?

If that is not the case, I recall you can easily solve it by pressing the rewind button at bottom of camera while turning on camera. You may need to press shutter button once after this. It should get rid of the error. I did something like this years ago and the problem never came back.

Listen to this SDM Squeak - what should I do?

In my experience with SDM lenses, the AF behavior of each one is different. One is completely silent and AF quickly. Another one is completely silent but AF slowly. A third one is squeaking like yours and AF quickly. A fourth one is squeaking like yours but often cannot lock focus. All in all, I feel SDM is a bad design from Pentax in that they can't even make the behavior consistent. Time for them to update their SDM lenses.

Sorry I don't have an answer to question.

Not sure about this specific ball head. But normally you shouldn't use lubricant in a ball head. At least Arca Swiss says so. Is it possible something else is wrong with your ball head?

Instead of berating the reviewer with empty words, can you just give meaningful info on how is right way to use a Fuji? It would better benefit readers here. And better yet directly communicate with him instead of saying indirectly here?

At sub $3k price, the 560mm is definitely a bargain and will retain its value in foreseeable future. Whether one needs it or not is another story though.

Yes, it is Amazon Prime Card. Prime member gets 5% rebates for any purchase made on Amazon.com. But if you take payment plan, you won't get 5%. For others who don't use Amazon card, it doesn't matter since there's no such payment plan to begin with.

With the payment plan, you will not earn the 5% rebates on Prime Card. That's the trade off.
