I went for k-1 with one particular scenario in mind - portraits of my 1yo son using fa77 :) A fear of missing out it was... And now I've added DFA 50mm.
For everything else I was and still is happy with my k3ii.
LBA eventually hit me hard this year... got more old FA*, F and A lenses to have a lightweight fun bundle for K-1. No regrets, though :)
But there is no way I will let go the APS-C. I need its reach and FPS to shoot tennis/surfing and light weight for hiking or certain travel.

Shows a little use, most noticeable - paint on top of viewfinder got a bit polished. Some 1-2mm paint chips at the bottom. Like new otherwise.
No box - got it this way.

Got an Ace Ventura style delivery from USPS today. The box got wet and torn. Anything could have fall out of the box anytime.
I was surprised to find everything inside without any damage. Phew. The seller did a got job of wrapping everything up generously.
As a context - over last two months I did two used acquisitions in a row. Both turned out defective, got returns, but overall disappointment. Now i was sure there are no defects, but when I saw the box.... first though was - its 2020, what did you expect? :)
There were a mint K1ii and FA* 28-70 in the box.

Got this Tokina 28-70/2.8 on this forum for my K-1. Selling because now I have FA* 28-70 and Tokina stays at home most of the time.
This lens, though a bit old, is still a very good one for K-1 at this price. 72 mm filter. My copy is in good condition. Glass is clean. Externally there are some minor paint losses. Aperture blades act very fast without any stickiness.
Comes with front and rear caps and a rubber hood - all not original though.

I was using tripod, forgot to mention :)
The problem was caused by old firmware on K1. with new firmware the lens works great on both cameras.
Oh gosh... what a lesson :)
So lucky I tried it on k3ii and got overexposure. Otherwise I would just return this lens and wasted more time.

I suspected smth like that and did some Google search and did not find anything related.. its good I tried to ask here :)
However AF inconsistency and sharpness aren't great on K1, therefore most likely I will return it anyways.

hmm.. for K1 firmware ver 1.50 reports improvements for 50mm. I have 1.43. Lets see if it fixes the issue.

Hi,
just got a new DFA 50mm 1.4 AW from B&H and when testing it on k3ii I got overexposure like the aperture lever is slow. When its wide-open - exposure is ok, but when I close it - it gets overexposed. I was testing indoors and got same results with flash and without one.
I have K-1 as well - and there is no such issue. Is it lens issue or my k3ii? k3ii works fine with any other lens. However I don't have any other modern DFA lens to try (they are of a bit different design without exposed aperture lever).
What is worse is that overall the lens does not perform well. The focus is really inconsistent in comparison with 55mm 1.4. Sharpness is similar or a bit better on 55mm. I tried to play with AF adjustment for 2-3 hours... its never been that inconsistent :)
I'm returning it anyways, but that overexposure worries me.. Do I need to find another DFA to test my k3ii now?:)
