I don't think so. If that is the same sensor i would not matter because Capture One don't support Hasselblad files.
But the P40+ could be a good starting point.

From my point of view the Capture One Output is better than the Lightroom Output. Here one quick Comparison:

From left to right
Capture One 9 (Sharpening 0) - Profile IQ250 - Flat Art Reproduction
Lightroom (Sharpening 0) - Profile: dcamprof-v0100-pentax-645z-neutral-plus
Lightroom (Sharpening 0) - Profile: dng included

Capture One is one of the leading raw converters around. It features a wide spectrum of tools and provide an amazing speed.
Unfortunately Phase One (the company behind Capture One) hide unsupported cameras.
To use Capture One for Pentax 645z RAW files it is necessary to change the Manufacturer and Model Informations direct in the EXIF part of the RAW file.

For this step you need a tool witch is able to write EXIF informations. It is possible to change the Manufacturer to any value (only "Pentax" is blocked). As demonstration I changed on Image to "Who is Pentax" and one to "Phase One A/S". Both Model Values are changed to "IQ250".
As you see below both files a visible and editable in Capture One 9. But the "Capture One Magic" only applied with the Copy of the IQ250 Data.

And here step for step the way to solve the problem (Windows only, for Mac you need to use the terminal)

1. Download the ExifTool by Phil Harvey ExifTool by Phil Harvey
2. Unzip the .exe file
3. Create a shortcut to the file
4. Edit the shortcut (right click and Properties) and add -Model=IQ250 -Make="Phase One" -overwrite_original (Yes! with minus)
5. By now the Target should look like "C:/Tool/exiftool" -Model=IQ250 -Make="Phase One" -overwrite_original
6. To convert your files mark and move your files over the shortcut. For your security create a backup before you convert your RAW files, the ExifTool in this configuration will replace the original file.
7. Open Capture One and enjoy

Just one last point, with this EXIF Modifikation you are may able to use the DB-Version of Capture One 9. Be fair, buy the Pro-Version if this works for you. The DB-Version is free for user who speed a lot of money for there bodies.

You may have a look here for another tool:

Some information about the Mac OS procedure:

EDIT:
- more Informations about the MAC OS procedure
- "Phase One" seems to working better than "Phase One A/S"

You will find some sample shots on my blog, but no direct comparison so far.
Pascal Stingl

The most importend information is that most of the hasselblad lenses got their performance peak @f8-f11, while most of the newer Pentax lenses are good wide open.
There are some exceptions from this observation like the FE 110 f2. This one is very good even wide open.

Maybe the lenses from 100 mm up will work without dark corners. Search for Flexbody and image circle, you will find every information you need.
Here is one Thread from LuLa: Image-circle of Hasselblad V lenses?

A test picture from last week. I used the Multi-exposure feature to simulate an ND filter. The Image was taken with 15 Frames at 1/10 sek f11 within 30 seconds. It will took a lot of dynamik, but there still enough potential for post processing. But I will stick with 15 normal frames in combination with Photoshop to simulate a ND filter.

Hasselblad Lens Review Data

Hi folks

After receiving my Hasselblad V to Pentax Adapter, I'm able to provide a lot of test footage. I created a sub site on my blog to host all test images (at the moment 1.5 GB).
Today I tested:

Hasselblad Distagon CFE IF 40 mm f 4.0
Hasselblad Distagon CFi 50 mm f 4.0
Hasselblad Distagon CFi 60 mm f 3.5
Hasselblad Planar C 80 mm f 2.8
Hasselblad Planar FE 110 mm f 2.0
Hasselblad Makro Planar CFi 120 mm f 4.0
Hasselblad Sonnar CFi 150 mm f 4.0
Hasselblad Superachromat CF 250 mm f 5.6

You will find the data here: www.pascalstingl.com
Of course without commercials, registration or whatever.

At the end a little hint about classic Hasselblad lenses. Don't expect to get good lenses when shoot wide open. Hasselblad lenses are optimized for an aperture of f 8-11.
Nearly all classic Hasselblad lenses show there best performance when capture an object near infinity.
Some time ago Zeiss published a very interessting paper about the evolution of Zeiss/Hasselblad lenses: http://static.hasselblad.com/2015/02/the_evolution_of_lenses.pdf

has anyone upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10?

So it is. Actual I see no reason to preload an Update for my OS. Nobody is able to say if your hardware is still usable, if your software is working properly and witch features finally while become available or stay available.
There are some details I am worried about. First the update is no update, this should be a "new installation" of your OS while importing your private folders and settings.
So there should be no rollback function. Microsoft is launching an App-shop with Windows 10 with a forced Windows Live membership and the Media Center isn't available after update.

To much question marks for me at the moment. Maybe I will take the "update" later or choose another OS.

It is possible to remove the "Upgrade Programm" from your PC and block it permanent. Just perform this steps:

- Turn off automatic Windows update
- uninstall the following update: Update for Windows xxx systems (KB3035583) (You uninstall updates in -> Control Center -> add or remove programs // left side of the window)
- restart your PC; may take some time
- go to Windows update and search for new updates
- look for the KB3035583 update and hide it with a right click
- now you can turn the automatic Windows Update back on

Hello from Switzerland

I'm in Photography since ten years now. Started shooting with a point a shoot camera from my local discounter.
Since then I'm gliding deeper and deeper into Everything connected to Photography.
Actual I use several analog Medium Format Cameras, 2 Digital Medium Format Cameras, 1 Large Format Cameras and some other (Rangefinder, DSLR, etc.).
My last purchase was a Pentax 645Z, and I'm very happy with this one. Truly a very unique Camera in the Medium Format World.
I prefer landscape, architecture and experimental Photography.

Best Regards
Pascal

The Canon lenses are even wider. I use them on a 48*36 mm Chip with movements. These two lenses are incredible. But Canon seems to be the only company at the moment who is able to produce this kind of extreme lenses. As i heard it is some kind of pressed glass. The Images shows a 2 x 36*48 mm shot with the Canon TS-E 17 mm. The view angle is about 150°.

Greetings from Switzerland
a proud new 645Z owner ;-)
