Pentax has long ago implemented this on the Q series. It is even available on the mode knob as BC (blur control)

And the power switch is set to "off"? It won't charge if set to "on" even if the camera has switched off and are in standby mode.

No problem here with firmware 1.50 and a cheap IKEA charger (only 5V & 1A)
Edit: I also tried another PD charger wich deliver 9V & 12V and still works normally.

I checked my K-3 and it has the same problem with outer af points as my K-3 III. I am also mostly using the center points so no big deal for me. It seems to me that this issue is only with wide angle lenses.

On my camera there are similar focus issues with the DA11-18/2.8 so I think this is more like a general problem with the new af-sensor in K-3 III

New firmware is out. Is it fixed? I have tested a little bit with the lens at 16mm and it is not fixed. Perhaps it is better than before, but I am not sure.

I agree with you regarding the converter with DA*50-135/2.8. It is not good enough. On DFA*70-200/2.8 it is a lot better. I dont use the converter with the DFA*70-200/2.8 wide open, but stop down 1 step to f/5.6 and in that case it is sharp down to pixel level on a K-3 III.

Replacing it require special skills so if you dont have it, forget it.
It charges when the camera is turned on, but it has to be turned on continously for days to charge from 0 to 100%. It will eventually charge if you use your camera. If it stays unused, it will discharge.

T: A resistor, 10kohm, probably temperature dependant between T and -
the fourth terminal could be the middle connection between the two cells in the battery. But I am only guessing here...... The battery have some internal electronics to make sure the cells are balanced. But they can only handle currents up to a certain level. If you want to quick charge batteries, the charger itself could make sure the cells are balanced and my guess is that the 4th connection is for this purpose.

How many of you in this 'club' has gone from DA*55/1.4 to D FA*50/1.4? What is the main difference between those two? I have myself the DA*55/1.4 and are not really using it at f/1.4, but find it good at f/1.7 and excellent at f/2. Green and red CA is troublesome in high contrast images.
Perhaps the most annoying with DA*55/1.4 is focus inaccuracy, but that has changed to the better with K-3 III. How is that on D FA*50/1.4?
