hi Rick!

What info do you mean?

First I was thinking of using FA 50/1,4, which I bought exactly for these events. For low light photography, concerts etc.

But after shooting a while with Pentax SMC-DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited a fell in love with this lens.
And with K-5 high ISO capabilities it was natural I will try to shoot this concert with 70/2,4 too.

All pictures in this album were taken with DA 70/2,4 ltd.
I am shooting RAW (DNG), 16GB Sandisk Extreme card (2 card slots would be a nice touch from Pentax).
Postprocessing -Adobe Lightroom 3.3. Final adjusting Zoner Photo Studio 12.

(Now I think I am going to sell my 50/1,4..)

Yeap!! You are right!! Its working!! Thank you - you saved me!

Really - the trick is to release the card immediately after the release click! It doesnt jump out, but its already easy to pull it out.

GREAT!!

I just have one problem with this solution: Why is it causing problems only when pulling card out? I can push card in the slot quite easily...

hi all,

I am having problems removing SanDisk 8 GB SD card from my k-5. I found similar thread on dpreview with k-7. Seems like this was not solved.

The same with another 2GB Sandisk SD. It is annoying, my K20D has a very good card slot.
:(

When pushing card in, there is no problem, it goes in smoothly. But when pulling the card out, I have to wiggle it a bit from side to side to get it out.

grrrrrrrr

Anybody experiencing similar difficulties? Is it broken or is it a special K-5 feature?
