A beautiful sunset, but with a good separation of colours and planes, looking down from top to bottom, you go from cold colours to warm colours with a neutral central zone that acts as a separation.

Good performance, and others good shots,

A photo, 'maybe' would be more explanatory.

To hearten you.... Last year, I bought a dye to paint the skins "black", you know for the cases of the K, M series lenses, are back as new. I do not know if your problem is identical or similar.

The puncture of a tire can also cause serious consequences, depending largely on the circumstances and speed.

You do it to dissuade him or to intimidate him, but remember that there are people who seek just that kind of challenge,
the cinema is studded with these examples "Duel", better not to joke with luck.

Remember it's only a moment... then.

As I have suggested, in many discussions in other forums and for other needs we almost always talk about WD-40,

both to unlock and clean the reflex cameras, and for all mechanical parts subjected to wear, better patience than haste.

I'll add you a thread if you have patience with the google translator it will be easy to grasp the concept: La vite maledetta

Of course you have the manual?

Good Luck, Mario

Hi Pentaxis

It is almost certain that the screws are stuck in the housing due to oxidation.

I advise you to buy the WD-40 (it is an unlocker) spray it and let it work all night long if necessary repeat the operation, then without forcing use the screwdriver very carefully.

Good luck with it, Mario

Hi grhazelton,

The fact of the tiny dust inside the optics is a recurring feature, the Japanese in their insertions almost always specify these parameters.

Thank you for your sincere answer.

It is not my last purchase, I apologize but I did not want to open another thread for a seemingly simple question. Do you suggest me to buy this optic?
I noticed that the lens has a small white dot, the seller very kindly told me that it is a small white spot "dust I suppose"
that appears more evident in the photo but that does not affect the peculiarity of the lens and photos.
(Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM as new except that spot), the price 250€, I know it does not compromise the lens, but in case of resale I would lose more.

What suggestion do you give me? Thank for for suggestions, Mario

Monotonous landscape, but the dark and embracing tongue of the road and the blue sky create a strong contrast that enhances the shot.

Good compositional evidence.

Hi Ismaelg,

One thing is not clear to me, are you the owner or did you just borrow it? Anyway it is and remains an important piece in the history of photography, not only Pentax.
Take care of it.

It almost seems to be cold, maybe it's his usual position anyway,

you managed not to underexpose the subject or burn the bright background, and this is a good point to your credit.

K200D restarting image counter often, but keeping date and time?

Well you only paid $40 for it, you won't lose much, you can buy another model.

The catch-in-focus issue makes me think that,

1. the AF / MF connector is starting to get a bit fussy.

2. The contacts (pin) are a bit worn in particular those that transmit the information in question, you can only try to clean them with alcohol if they are oxidized,
but of course they are worn that's why the functions come and go.

3. However you can always disable 'forcing autofocus' and use the MF of the lens to use catch-in-focus, i.e. from what I understand using all AF and MF optics in MF to take advantage of catch-in-focus, as long as there is no software or electronic anomaly, but only mechanical.

So, as also suggests, if you don't have any reason to do so a complete reset would be the best solution,

a bit like when your computer slows down, backup, reset, and restore) and restart. And then set all the functions you had previously.

Should you explain exactly what doesn't work for you with catch- in-focus not only with MF or AF lenses or both?

Mah, I was talking about the files,

1) if it is selected ON, it stores the file number of the last saved image and images subsequent receive sequential numbers even if a new folder is created.

2) If it is Off The number of the first image saved in a folder restarts from 0001 each time a new folder is created.

Hi ChristianRock,

The reason probably escapes due to a quick or hasty reading even to the most attentive.

I have the Pentax K20D and it is the same thing but it can happen to forget about it. However the cause I don't think it's an anomaly is probably this one.

"When the number of storable images exceeds 500, captured images are divided into folders of 500 images each.

However, in Auto Bracket, images will be stored in the same folder until shooting is completed, even if the number of images exceeds 500."

Or check, page 213 of the manual.

May light and serenity accompany US.

1. Look further and further ahead

2. Having the overview of the position

3. Have an "escape" plan or "B" plan

4. Keep a safe distance

5. Reduce driving distractions: Car radio, air conditioning controls and satellite maps, cell phones we know, they are one of the main accident houses.
and also, eating, drinking, and arguing animatedly with other passengers.

It wants to be just a small review that we often miss or forget.
