I have both converters and they are both of good IQ (depending on the IQ of the combined lens.) The 1.4x-L from Pentax does a extremly well job on the DFA*200/2.8. The IQ is perfect. No decrease of image Quality, better than with the also very good HD 1.4x, but full FF. Cons: only manual and only compatible with very few lenses because of the extruding construction of the converter.

DFA 21mm Limited - Lens hood and filters

I think the Lee Filter may be the better option, because with the NISI solution the open sides of the lens hood would propably closed and cause vignetting on left and right side of the picture.

yes, you are right. My solution is thought vor DSLR. for a GR the Clutch with the small anchor mount is enough. The Peak Design Clutch is very compfortable and sure.

best solution I found: Peak design camera strap and clutch together, combined with Peak design clip and ThinkTank camera clip adapter on a belt. This combination is genious to carry heavy stuff and having fast and secure access and grip.

get the the new DA*16-50. A high recommended and modern lens. Or if you like a faster lens than f2.8 There are the fabulous FA Ltd. lenses FA 31, FA43, FA77 and the new great FA 21. If you like to portrait people, the DA*55/1.4, the HD FA 50/1.4 or best but big DFA*50/1.4. All are great on APS-C and FF.

I am extremly happy with my DFA 21/2.4 and I love it. I also have all three FA Ltds and tha A 20/2.8 and the M20/4. The new DFA 21/2.4 is a fantastic lens and much better than both old twenties and in my sight it is suits very well to the three amigos. Can not verify the problems of the thread opener. Mine is very sharp wide open, no matter if close focused or on infinity. The bokeh is outstanding and very near to the FA31 Ltd.

This one is very good and does never fall off ... and you can insert a lens, instead of wearing glasses! Best eye-cup I ever had! It seems to be expensive but it is worth every cent.

you find the Original PENTAX Eye Cup MII 30087 from Japan on ebay. I use it and I like it better than the original eye cup of my K-1. I wear glasses and now they never fog.

Printing on watercolor paper

I did several prints on classical paper for artists with my Epson SureColor P600 and it works stunning fine with most papers. But you should make individual ICC profiles for each paper and your printer with, for example the xrite i1 studio. Works fine, but I dont know how many years the color will be stable. My prints are looking still good after more than one year. Without the individual ICCs it doesnt look as good.

PENTAX-M 300mm F4 (GREEN STAR ) with teleconverter

I have the A*300/4, which is optical identical to the M Version and I recommend to use it pure. It is a fantastic lens and great from f5.6. Sometimes i use it with the AF 1.7x Adapter which gives the lens AF. But it is much easier to use it without a converter when handheld. With a converter you should use a tripod if you want sharp pictures.

I agree with Uncle Vanya. The DA*50-135/2.8 is one of my favorit lenses with a wonderfull rendering. The DA*60-250 also is a very good lens. So choose one of them or the older zoom (HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED WR Reviews - DA Zoom Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database)
