Yes the bird pics are cheating as I took them at a Audubon society photo shoot
The Caterpillar however was taken at a near by lake on a fishing Holiday with A K-3 and Tamrom 90mm macro a series of 6 photos to allow me sharp focus front to back (my first descent focus stacked image)

Thank you
BA

Schraubstock I like the color you added to the bird. Thank you all so much for your kind criticisms of my photo, I've learned today and that is worth a mint

Thank you all for your help I feel better about carrying the K-3 my back pack of choice is

DSLR Camera Backpack | Camera Bags | Incase

I like it because its big enough but not to big and it opens in the back so less chance of theft while carrying it around

Thanks Again
Brian

I have never flew with my gear and I'm afraid of breaking my K-3. That's the only reason why I considered taking the K-5. Lenses I am taking my sigma 18-50mm and my Tamron 70-200, maybe the new 70mm for family portrait.

I am going to Seattle from the Midwest later this week and have never Flown/Flew/ Flyed (not a grammar expert....lol) with my camera gear, I don't want to take 2 bodies and my choices come down to the K-3 vs K-5. What would you do?

Thank you in advance,
Brian

My biggest (and only) gripe with Pentax was flash. I am refering to not being able to perform all those wonderful off camera beautiful midday flash photos all my Canikonony (canon, nikon, sony) friends are producing, I ordered a couple cactus V6 ll's the other day and they arrived today. I attached the triggers to my K-5 with the 540fgz and it is amazing how well these triggers work I am looking forward to this weekend as I have some time planed for photographs outside. I am excited to see what I can produce.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can give me information on how to increase the buffer size on my k-7 because it will only shoot 4 shots and stalls. I used the same card I have in my k-5 that will take 15+ before stalling. I shoot Raw I am just wondering if this is a limitation of the k-7 or if something might be wrong with it.

thank you,
Brian
