I don't think they terminate the Express at this moment, the last question in that article is :

I am using an Express version, does this impact me?
No changes are being made to our Express product at this stage. Your software will continue to work as it is.

What can I still do if I have aperture block?

I'm pretty sure its my K1 'made' my K30 to have aperture block.

My K30 was my 2nd camera and I use it with my K5 for few years without any issue, its said that I use both camera 2-3 times / month, and until ... I got my K1 in 2016.
I didn't touch my K5 and K30 for near 12 months and someday in 2017, I take the K30 out and after like 20 or 30 photos, it start to have the aperture block issue, and fortunately, the K5 didn't have this issue.
So if anyone is very happy with their K3 iii now, remember to take your K30 / 50 /70 ... out and shoot some photos once in a while.

If you have M42 / Tamron adaptall lens, they can use as normal on a aperture block camera. (like my K30)

Since you are using the ExiftoolGUI, select a photo which you like to add the lens information, then click on the right 'workspace' button, (the blue one).
There is a 'lensModel' area (blue), click on it and you can enter your information in the yellow area on the bottom. Then click 'enter' and then 'the 'save' button on the right. Your lens information will then be save on the Metadata. You can input the same lens information on many photos by select them.

To me , the answer is none.

Getting a new / old lens is (research + expectation) Vs (money you pay), and in general , you got what you pay.

I just got a Olympus body cap lens for my M43 camera with $30, it was said its the worst lens on some of the review. and yes, the corner are burr like hell but I still feel good for its so portable and usable image in the center.

K3 mark III (not mark II !)& Sigma 50-500 (later version) - any experience or issues?

I have the Sigma 50-500 and yes, its a pretty heavy lens. However, the OS system on the lens make it still can do some hand held shooting. Its good on both my K5 and K1.
So I think it s/b good on K3 lll as well.
This is on my K5 years back.

If you have a bunch of K mount lenses and some of them have aperture ring, you can just use those on your 'dark picture' issue K30. with M or Av mode. Also the M42 screw mount lenses can work.

My K1 works just fine after update to the latest firmware. That said there are some general minor improvement in last few versions (other than the new lens), may be I'm not using those functions but I didn't feel any change. My take is still to update to the latest firmware when its a available.

I know 85mm is classic 'portriat' focal length, but sometimes I would prefer a shorter one (may be like 60-70mm) when shooting indoor. :p

WOW, Nice....so that's true. I heard that almost everyone have 50mm lens more than the other focal length.:lol:

What a collection ! I hope I can have the Voigtlander

Venus Laowa V-DX 60mm F2.8 Macro 2:1

USSR TRIAR-3 LENS 85mm f2.8 projector lens ,
Jupiter-9 MC 85mm f2.0,
Mir–38B 65 mm f/ 3.5 Lens

Mamiya Sekor C 70mm f2.8 E

Samyang 85mm F1.4 Aspherical IF

I have these in the 60~85mm, the Mir and Mamiya are medium format lens and as well as the projector lens, I need to use adapter, but I'm satisfy with the result.

And I have also the Pentax 110 70mm F2.8 for my Olympus M43, fun to use.
