Unfortunately it sound like it could be aperture block failure. Do a search and you’ll find a few threads on it. There is a fix but if you are out of warranty I t will cost you.

I agree there is no perfect bag and I have a few, but what gets used mostly is my ThinkTank Turnstyles, I have two, a 5 and a 10. They keep me from packing too much and are very easy access.

I like Flickr, I have the pro account, I was concerned that smugmug might ruin it when they bought it, they did raise prices but did not screw up the interface. In fact, they actually just increased the maximum display size.

WR. I recently purchased the 20-40 over the 21 because WR makes it that much more useful to me.

Plus different tooling must be designed and produced, possibly different sourcing also, and if your demand to a supplier is low, youíll have to pay a premium for them to even produce it when you need it.

Iíve mentioned that something was taken handheld before As a disclaimer, an apology for something that could have been better because a tripod should have been used.

Ratings and Reviews do you trust them and why?

I did tons of research before buying into Pentax and the K20D at the time. I looked not only at reviews, but features that each camera had, weather resistance was a big selling point for me, even though it was a longer with to get my first WR lens.

I feel I am a little more knowledgeable no than I was ten years ago. The reviews that test and rate cameras on test benches donít really mean much to me, if you arenít using the camera you donít really understand it. Having a faster autofocus is nice, but if you canít tell itís faster without a bench testing itís really not noticeable. I find the questions and comments in forums much more valuable. Some things can be tossed out rights away like when people bash brands or cameras and lenses they have not used. The professional reviews here on Pentax forums are very good for Pentax users because they can compare them to a system we know.

You obviously must have an option to buy one cheap, resist, you would never have a use for it. I agree with the others, you have that covered with superior lenses, save your money for a good lens.

I have a ThinkTank Turnstyle 5 and a 10. Right now I have the five with a KP with DA20-40 mounted, and also the DA 15 and F 50/1.7. With the 10 I usually have the KP with 55-300 PLM, 18-135 or Tamron 90 macro and a small prime or two. Of course both have a little space for batteries, filters, etc. Very well designed bags to use.
