I would not paint or tape as then the snobbish would do it even more... and then ... are they not the results that matter?

If you really want to go on that route, use something like the Mantis scratch repair pen that is an instant bodyshop clear coat fix and then cover in acrylic paint: Betterware in the uk sell them on the web with the UV activated formula.

D-AC50 ~ OK to leave Battery in?

Hello,
,The D-AC50 http://www.adorama.com/images/300x300/IPXKBC108.jpg is a compact AC rapid charger that replenishes the battery out of the camera. It exist since the time of the K10D.
As it is a rapid charger I would non leave it plugged with the battery all the time because it will continue to restart every time will query the battery status.
You could leave it plugged but be aware that is still using energy power... non a green behaviour.
Ciao

This is really up to your personal preferences.
Many user of Lightroom prefer to keep all the management done by LR. I personally do like to have maximum control over my files and so far I used Faststone to rename all pictures in YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-XXXXX format and then use the tags. Perhaps this could be an idea so you have all pictures renamed in chronological order of shooting date and then if you prefer you add the tags to all of those that you select by theme or event.
Mind when you export your LR library to a different external drive or PC/MAC

Ant

Hello Pentaxians!
Could you explain if after I sold some lenses and they do not appear anymore in
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-serial-number-database/?do=printmyserials
if there is a chance to see the history of my lenses equipment that I registered in the database.
I would like this feature to be able to track our serial numbers when we sell between pentaxians ind in this way the database won't be reduced once the product is deleted from the owner's park because sold.
Infact it happened after I sold my 5 manual lenses in Italy to allow possible new registration by the new owner.

Thank you

Hello,
I just want to give an update about this issue.
I noticed that this issue tend to happen when a DA Lens is mounted after the use of a Manual or A lens.
I discovered that the switch goes back to normal only if the AF lens is mounted after that the position MF is switched back BEFORE the removal of the Manual focus lens and setting the dial in AUTO.
Repace the lens and have a couple of shots in Auto.
The switch will work again.
Regards,
Ant
