Nor'Easter in 10 days in this area.I made a 2Ft. x 4.5 ft of my best wave shot.A local seaside restaurant is interested in obtaining the mural.I'm hunkering down for tomorrow.----charliezap

We were at Madeira Beach Fl. with company when this violent storm blew through the area. I went outside to the protected alcove to take some shots and took this one of our friend Robbie looking at the storm through the big window. She thought that this was "trick photography" but after thinking about it it turned out to be a mirror reflection from the alcove door glass looking into the home.--charliezap

Thanks for the info. I was figuring around 8 liters and with 85 pieces of gum per liter that would be 680 pieces. I'm going to add your number of 772 as another of my guesses---thanks for the help.--charliezap

Not a bad guess--another piece of info is that i filled a 24 oz container with 60 pieces of gum and went from there and came up with 680 pieces for 8 liters.---charliezap

This glass says Blanche de Chambly on it which is brewed in Canada at Unibroue. It's at least 18" tall and 5-6" across the top.My estimation says it hold 7-8 liters of ilquid? It's filled with wrapped double bubble gum and the 50-50 goes to the closest guess which will be probably be won by someone without a clue.:lol:I can't find this glass anywhere by searching. Maybe my Forum friends can help in my quest.Half the proceeds go to a local soldiers home in the Boston area.Have some fun with this. I have until half time on Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks to all my Forum friends --charliezap--The pic doesn't do it much justice--it is a huge glass.

The challenge is closed. How ironic that the theme is "ice" because here in the Boston Ma. area we are in the beginning stages of a major winter storm (Grayson) that will be a blizzard. I hope to have the rsults later today.--charliezap.

Ok boys and girls--Let's have some fun with this one. Here in the "States" cold and ice is covering a major part of the Nation but ice can be anywhere in any clime. Here are a few examples to get your brain cooking--just show me some "ice":)--charliezap

The Challenge will close at midnight Wednesday January 3rd. Go to it and have a Happy New Year.--Charliezap.

The fine print:
Every week, a new theme is picked and judged by the winner of the previous week.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax/Ricoh (DSLR) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge

Here are some examples to jump start your thinking.--charliezap
