A 400

I got it for 350 euros. I had asked myself the same question. The 300 has an excellent quality with a wide possibility of crop, but it is a 300, more expensive and with the multiplier the expense increases even more. If you use it often and a lens of your main photograph I would take a 300 and look for a multiplier. If it's for occasional use with limited expense (like me) then you can make several compromises, and the alternatives with that budget are not many and perhaps they are worse.
I have seen that sigma zoom is also mentioned. When I bought I had both options and I chose the pentax. I wouldn't call it a great lens, at least my copy, but it does an honest job. The main problem is the purple sides in critical condition. I inform you that the focus is very long, it takes a complete turn.

I have a problem with the k1 battery charger. The green light flashes when I insert the battery and it does not charge. In the manual it is reported that if it blinks it is a battery problem, when in reality it would be anomalous because tha battery it is practically new and I have the same problem with another battery that is always new even if not original. Has it happened to anyone? Thank you.

when I say it works I say it works. I can use it without any problem with all objectives. But if I have to say that it doesn't work because someone likes it, that's fine too.

You wrote various inaccurate things. I don't think you really know how it works in the forums in Italy, It is full of topics where people complain about the problems on K30 and K50. Also non pentax forum.Had there been some problem with the k70 it would have been written for sure, such as SDM engine problems, etc ..
As for the tests it goes without saying that ricoh will not provide any data but I have never seen anyone who has a repair invoice diagnosed by a photo repairer. No one has ever exhibited it, not even on the posts you indicated. Indeed there have been many many strange nicks.

Finally, not everyone has a four-year guarantee. It happens that many do not buy with an Italian guarantee, they prefer to save money, with only guarantee for two years. However, when one has a problem he writes it equally on the various forums and given that you say you know the Italian forums well, point me to some links for k70 problems.
As for me, I end up here. I am really tired of this solenoid thing. Buy other and live peacefully. You just seem boring to me or at least you have bored me enough. However if you look for me you will also find me in discussions. Just stop looking in the mirror.

cameras and lenses purchased from the official importer have a 4 year warranty. It's not just for me it's true for everyone in Italy. Two-year dealer warranty applies to all products purchased in Europe, including a washing machine.

I can confirm today that I have never read in Italy in the various forums about a problem with the solenoid on the k70. I also followed the various topics for a while and it seems to me that many cases were alleged and not fully ascertained. No one has official data and I have never seen written diagnostic evidence of repairers but only many nicknames that are not always reliable.

Yuo say it, is adapter AA, and mine obviously works well.

Italians are more imaginative and far less expensive then.

evidently he was very badly informed, my k30 is 8 years old and still works.

I had already written what I did, and I would have done the same if it had happened before, that is to buy a battery adapter. Like me others have and the cameras still work. There are other alternatives that don't cost much to replace the solenoid, and many have done it on their own or for less than $ 100. It seems to me that you want to enlarge the problem to practical effects. I repeat: Pentax should have acted differently, but this solenoid thing has gotten really boring, just a way to parrot a bad poem. for information in Italy the official warranty is 4 years, two years products purchased in Europe. My k70 is still under warranty until christmas from 2018 when I bought new for 499 euros. which fuji do you buy with this money?

Not everybody. I had the problem on a k30 that appeared after several years. I bought a k70 and then a k1. (I put a stylus adapter on the k30 (15 euro) and it still works today after almost ten years, 80,000 shots without any problems). For an object paid for around 300 euros (used) I can still be satisfied. I understand that this is not the case for everyone, but other brands have also had their problems. Nobody's perfect. However, a different help from Pentax would certainly have helped the trust relationship on the part of many users.

I am thinking of getting one for occasional use on k70 e k1. I've read reviews here but your examples look great to me. I don't read the exif, what aperture did you take? Do you also use it with TC?
I was undecided between 1.4x or with adapter 1.7

to separate GR from pentax? in terms of sales it seems to me that they are still together in a new division. This seems to me the most significant data. The GR is a very sector camera, and it is truly unique. I don't think it competes internally any more than it is with any other brand other than those that produce compacts. It also seems to me that the GR III has benefited a lot from the technology coming from Pentax, and in fact it has greatly improved its strength in image quality.

we hope that one or two new lenses can also be presented for the opening. :)

However, I am happy to see what they announced materialized. The usual baleful rumors had already pointed out that they were closing shops in Japan, without saying anything that in reality they were a relocation

Well I would say that in this moment of extreme difficulty at the moment he has faced the situation with equilibrium. The path that will be traced in the near future is not yet clear and at the moment, after the many releases of last year, there is little news on addresses and upcoming releases. There are only two lenses on the road map and for quite some time. No news has come from MF anymore, a k1III still appears premature, and none new on apsc except for a rumor about a new 50-135 plm. hypotheses have been made in the surveys of a k70 for astro or a monochromatic k3III, but even these are only hypotheses.
After these results, having a clearer course could bring greater security to those who like pentax products, which are notoriously always the subject of mortuary news. The patience of the Pentaxian is proverbial, but the market always seems to require something to talk about .. and some certain dates to which to tell the truth in the last year has always been strangely respected. I think if new things come out it seems that customers are in favor and probably help with the sales of other material as well.

Six different versions of the Pentax K-3 Mark III

I read that in Europe there are many problems with disposing of orders for all new cameras (Canon, Nikon, OM). Sony has suspended orders for various models, and they proceed very slowly, with delays of several months.
. The chip problem is transversal. It may be okay to wait for the cameras, but the lenses can bring them out anyway. Regarding the sales of the black model, however, I always look from the side of the consumer and not the manufacturer. I am happy for those one hundred people who have a particular product that they have been able to buy and be satisfied with. The numbers are for those who aspire to become a manager at Ricoh, not for those who enjoy with photo

I think for a not-so-cheap lens camera, and the model has been out for over a year now, it has been pretty good. I am curious to see if there will be developments of other models following the astro (k70) or monochrome (k3III) survey. I'm also curious to hear about announcements when they get something related to rumors about new lenses for 2022. It's a particular time, they should knock a beat to show up and say hey there again!

Upgrade a K-x to a K70?

I like this comment, it contains a lot of things that I would have written. I just add that the viewfinder is similar, to have a bigger one you have to watch k3III on apsc or K1.

I also add that it is true that the ergonomics are different (for some better for others worse), but this can also bring advantages for the slightly smaller size compared to your previous camera (like my k30). If you use limited DA you will notice how much more often you will have behind your K70. The main differences are therefore a better quality in certain difficult environmental conditions for old sensors, and another world much more evolved as regards the operation of the camera (wi-fi connection, smartphone app, articulated LV) which make it very practical. . The additional functions, as already mentioned, look at them and understand if they interest you or not. Even for an occasional use they are fine anyway, better to have something than not to have it, especially when it can serve you.

camera + lens very beautiful as aesthetics. They started with perhaps the easiest project. A monochromatic or astro or infrared model would have been more promotional, but it is good that they have respected the times. Let's see if it will be a pilot project with other followers and if these models can also be replicated in other parts of the world.
