Yes I did, must have been a 6 or 10 stopper, not sure which :)

Thank you very much for your comment, glad you enjoyed it! :)

You are a lucky man! I would truly love to live close to Barrika... no matter what camera you use to portray it! :)

Last light at Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset. I truly love exploring and photographing the ledges at Kimmeridge for detail work, they are so inspiring and I find them always rewarding, with almost any light. I took this photograph during a Workshop One-on-One in Dorset I led in October 2017. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Thank you very much Andreas, I am glad you enjoyed it! :) Ireland is great, I am sure you'll enjoy it a lot!

Thank you very much indeed, glad you enjoyed the composition and my choice of post-processing! :)

Thank you very much Todd, glad you liked it! :) About the water, I think that in fine-art landscape photography there is a place both for the ultra-long exposure and for shorter, more "active" exposures: here the scene was a good case for the latter, and I am glad you agree with my choice.

Thank you very much indeed! :)

Best regards,

Vieri

A couple of days ago, during the Workshop I am leading here in Asturias, we were talking about Tuscany and its amazing landscapes: I immediately started thinking about the beauty of this land in the fall, and realised once more that I can't wait to be back there very soon! This is Val d'Orcia, photographed during a Workshop I led there in November 2017. Leica SL, Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

One of Dorset's most spectacular bays is Seacombe Bay, here portrayed at sunset. It takes a very pleasant 30 min downhill walk to get there, and the place is so amazing that it makes the walk back, all uphill, a breeze! Leica S (Typ 007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

Indeed. Iceland is still "shaping itself" as a country, with islands popping out of the sea and very active telluric / volcanic movement :) Amazingly inspiring for photography!

Thank you very much indeed! :)

Thank you very much Gina! :)

Thank you very much Todd, I am glad you enjoyed the B&W here! :)

Iceland's basaltic rocks, shaped by the power of the weather, feature incredible shapes: this is Gatklettur under the storm, a black & white image created in Iceland during a Workshop I led there in February 2018. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! :) As the say goes... "early photographer gets the shot"

About equipment, I used to, until the 16-35mm appeared: the Voigtlander, as good as it is and as amazing value for the money as it is, it simply is no match for the 16-35mm in any way (including price, of course!). So, now it is 16-35mm, 24-90mm and the Laowa 12mm throw in for ultra-wide duties :)

Thank you very much indeed! :)

Best regards,

Vieri

Than you very much indeed, glad you liked it! :) While Iceland is fine in every season, I love to go between November and March to put the contrast between snow and ice / black sands & rocks, and the contrast between cold landscape and warm sun, to a good use... I simply find these combinations irresistible! :) (quick ad: join us in Iceland next year! A workshop in March, one in November - follow the link in signature)

The cold is fine, is the wind that - at times, when it really REALLY blows - can really be hard to endure! :D

The Crumbling Cliffs at Valahnukamol in Iceland are a wonderful source of inspiration, and I love to explore them to find cracks with shapes complementing or mirroring the sea stacks and the clouds. Taken at sunset during a Workshop One-on-One in Iceland in February 2018 with my Leica SL, a Voigtlander 15mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards

Ireland is great, being there many times - last time to the Ring of Kerry, though, I have been in fog for the whole drive around - btw, I didn't know that scenery everywhere else wasn't "real" though... :D :D

Iceland in winter is amazing, looking for ice and snow patterns on the black sand at Reynisdrangar is extremely inspiring and makes enduring the cold definitely worth it. We had a great time during my Workshop there last February! Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm @ 24mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra.
