I have given up on Gurushots

Hello, I have played Gurushots for a few months and I have also quit after reaching the level of Master (Last level before becoming a Guru). That was enough for me, because if you want to reach the last level you needed to finish first on a challenge (I met the other 3 criteria :150,000 Points (773,000), 30 All Stars (385) and 5 Guru's pick (11)), But it is now nearly impossible to win a challenge because you need to compete against thousand of photographers across the world you would need to spend many many hours in front of your PC to do that. It was becoming an addiction at the end and I was spending way to much time at the game, so I decided to quit. I now post my photos here and on some European sites of Pentax users and I have as much fun without becoming addict to posting. It's a fun game but you need to know when you have reached your time to stop.

Hello Paul, I have the 3Legged thing tripod and I love it. Mine is the Billy Model, it weights 3.0 pounds compared to the Corey Model at 3.5 pounds. But I can only recommend the Corey ( My son has the Corey Model) or any of the 3 Leggaed thing tripods as great Tripods. I will be in Costa Rica in February and I will be using my 3 Legged thing tripod as my birding photography tool...At 59 inches and a load of 30 pounds, It is not comparable to the Sirui... One of my photo attached. God luck.

I bought the Rokinon 14mm for night photography /Astrophotography but must admit that it does a great job for landscape photographs. The only issue being that you cannot have CP or ND filters that would be nice in landscapr photography. here are a few samples... taken this automn in Mont Tremblant Park.

I own the A 50mm F:1.7, the M 50 F:1.7 and the FA 50mm F2.8 and although they are of the same quality level, I must admit that the A 50mm gets my preference in terms of frequency of use on my K1 Mark II.

Here are photos taken Tuesday on a cloudy day... with the A 50mm F:1.7

And with a long exposure of F:16

here is my comprehension of your comments... I think it is better without the sun and with less contrast, it is more natural and the new format looks OK to me.. Thanks.

Beautiful set of pictures, my preference goes to your No 2 because it is all nature and no man maid objects... The fourth one would be nice if you would remove the buildings or redo in a portrait mode because the rocky mountain is very nice.
