Sorry to hear the Kevin. Hope everyone recovers soon. The virus hit me back in February and knocked the socks out of me for 4 days. I then coughed for 2 weeks. Then it was done and hopefully never to return.
Again get well soon.

I live in Western New York and I am 30 minutes away from the best hidden state park in the state, Letchworth State Park. I am also 45 minute to 1.5 hours away from the wonders of the Finger Lakes region. Also the great lakes of Erie and Ontario are a short 30-45 minutes away. And lastly of course Niagara Falls and the region around the falls is a short 45 minute trip. Western New York is a treasure trove for landscape photographers and others also.

I use and like Luminar 4. I tend to use it as the finishing touches on a photo after processing in Lightroom first. Luminar 4 has such nice tools and effects which are easy to access and use. Only complaint would be the dodge and burn. There really is no go back option, so if you don't like what you have done you have to erase all steps prior.

I am a software collector, if there is such a thing. I use Lightroom to start. Migrate to Photoshop as needed. Will send the photo thru Luminar 4 for final finishing. Then sharpen and denoise in Topaz AI.
Nothing like keeping it simple!!!

There are many good choices.
Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom subscription is only $9.99 a month. Lightroom is "relatively" easy to get started using, but does have levels of complexity to it. Photoshop is photoshop as far as level of difficulty.
Luminar 4 is $89. A program easy to operate, but allows you to grow as your skills increase.

Dewitt Park in Batavia, New York is an amazingly beautiful place. Believe it or not, but this park is located within the city limits! This shot here is a 9 shot pano. Enjoy |

My son took me to a Yankees game in June. Best shots from the bleachers seem to be artistic shots. Some work with Topaz Impressions here.

Out on the beach taking some shots and a mirror image of myself appeared, so I took my self portrait or as close to a self portrait I could make.

Thanks Bob, I was shooting the game, tracking my daughter as she played, I had to do a quick change of lens to get the rainbow, then change back for the rest of the game.
Thanks, A great idea
