While I agree that backing out of a sale is poor form, I think it's important to realise that we live in unique times. The buyer may have realised that, with COVID-19, his income stream is down the drain or he needs to ensure he has reserves for whatever reason.
It's like the good ol' days of newspaper for sale adverts: The sale stays up until the seller has money in hand and the item is en route to the seller.

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Especially in Africa and other places with inadequate healthcare systems.

Martyn, I gave the K5 to my daughter, Annabelle, as she needs it for her fashion design course. Lack of film stock means I'm completely out of luck at the moment! :)

Well, if you're Spanish, you can have a calimocho. In South Africa, in the Portuguese community, it's known as a katemba. Not milk. Red wine and coke. Possibly best not to use Chateau Lafite Rothschild.

No milk, no sugar. Not in espresso or in tea. Milk just ruins it in my view. Don't mind me. I get as cranky with red wine. :o

The bags are filled with the floor sweepings. If you want a proper cup of tea, you need to use loose leaf tea. Whether one of the black teas, or others, you need to start with good tea. Of course, when I'm in a hurry, I do use tea bags, but when I want a 'good' cup of tea, I start with the right ingredients. Same for a good espresso. You have to start with the good beans, perfectly roasted, perfectly ground, pushed through the machine at just the right pressure and temperature.

With tea, it's much the same. Consider the blend, or single origin if you wish, the amount of fermenting and drying of the leaf, the heat of the water and whether it's a tea that benefits from the first brew or from subsequent brews of the leaves. It' a science and not for rushing.

It's not pessimism. It's realism. My grandparents met during the 1918 Influenza epidemic. That was bad. This disease has the potential to be worse and we live in an era ob better medicines, better health care and better connectivity.

Kudos mate. My hat off to you. You're a braver man on skis than me.

Too true. And as my K-1 is only now ready to leave Japan I can't even do any photography. I may get more work done during these four weeks than most other weeks!
No meetings, except for Zoom and Skype makes for some pretty productive days! :)

All take-out now closed. It's make your own food time in NZ. Not that that worries us, we don't eat a lot of take-aways.
