I will be honest, 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, do not work for me but 2-2 is great, if i may suggest the top left corner to loose the light so the mans outline would dominate in the frame, just an idea.

You do have a strong point but a label "DA, DFA, FA" does not tell us always the truth. If DA 35 AL uses the same optical formula with the FA 35 then propably it is a full frame lens.

Well DA*300 DA*60-250 and DA*200 are full frame lenses but they are DA not DFA.

Well this is the title of the article " Pentax optic to fit APS-C and full frame" Amateur Photographer is one of the oldest and more reliable magazine in Great Britain so i think they do know what they are talking about.

According to September 18th issue of Amateur Photographer yes. At APNews they had a brief presentation of Kr and the new DA 35mm f/2.4 AL.
From the article:
" Pentax is set to add a new 35mm fixed-focal-length lens to its line-up with the introduction of a smc Pentax-DA 35mm f/2.4 AL lens that will be suitable for both APS-C and full frame film and digital cameras."
Amateur Photographer is a reliable magazine so i think this is true. Interesting, what do you think?

I am Greek and i am very sorry for your loss, photos and gear and i am mad with people who act like thiss. But I want to say also that Greece and Athens are no more dangerous than other european countries and capitals. I guess tourists around the world are the easiest targets for criminals. :(:(:(

I had to turn the focus ring from one end to another to wake up the motor but this happened 2 or 3 times.

11 months but i had the first serious signs at 8 months or so.

I do not know if squeaking is a sign but mine was making it from day 1 and the motor finally died, the motor was replaced under warranty and now the lens is silent like my DA*300.

After 2 months i got back my lens, the repair was made in Germany. I tested the lens in my back yard and indoors and it focuses much faster than before with much less micro adjusments and also sounds different. A joy to use. :D
