Backpacks with top entry option is handy for long lenses. I have an Incase Pro DSLR backpack that fit the 150-450 attached to my K-1 when I rented that lens. Lowepro Protactic Bags and Manfrotto (forgot the exact model name) also have top entry would probably be good. The latter 2 might have a slight edge since they have waist straps.

Selling both because I upgraded to Pentax DFA version for both.

SMC DA 50mm f1.8 ($65)

Great budget prime lens. Will vignette some on K-1 or K-1 II as it is an APS-C lens, but is still usable.

Some dust on exterior, but in good to excellent condition with minimal wear. Lost the original lens cap at a convention so it has a 3rd party lens cap with strap. Comes with the original box.

Shipping US only. Price includes shipping.

Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro AF Lens for Pentax AF ($350) (SOLD)

Great lens if you're looking for a telephoto zoom on a budget.

Note: Lens was serviced and fixed last year after it fell out of my bag. Because of the fall, there is a small scratch near the outer edge of the front lens element (UV filter that was on it took most of the cosmetic damage), but have not seen it effecting the image nor show up when I've used it after it got fixed. Other wise it's in good condition.

Comes with the original box and carrying case.

My local one unfortunately doesn't do any repair or cleaning service. I think the closest one that's trustworthy is Wolfe's Camera.
Might take a drive.

Sounds like this whole process with Precision is a pain. And here I was thinking of sending in my K-1 to Precision for sensor cleaning & general maintenance early next year. I'm not so sure now.

LAOWA 25mm F2.8 2.5-5X ULTRA MACRO for K-mount

I have it. It's an interesting lens, but it is very challenging to use due to the super narrow depth of field and how much light you need. When you overcome the challenges, its rewarding. Would only recommend using f2.8-f5.6 for light and sharpness. f8 and beyond starts to get diffraction and lose sharpness.
Mantis photo is a 5 shot stack (handheld) with a Cactus RF60 and a DIY diffuser.
Shrimp eggs is single shot also with a Cactus RF60. Eggs are maybe a mm or less in size.

Itís unfortunate. I ended up pledging, but guess it ended in vain.
Wonder how much the Godox announcement effected this.

Never the less Iíll continue to use my V6/V6II and Rf60.

What successor for my hold K-x ?

I upgraded from a K-r to K-1 because I thought the full frame would be better for low light and Iíd say it was a good choice. The dynamic range was a lot better than I expected which would be a plus for landscapes. Also felt the price for whatís it capable of was very good.

Here are some. All 3 are focused stacked and used a speedlite with a diffuser. I have more on my instagram.
Most of the macro on there are all from the 100mm. (Mantis head and the shrimp eggs are from a different lens)

Welcome. I use the 100mm 2.8 Wr for a lot of my macro. Pretty nice lens. The WR is handy. For example I pretty much used this lens mostly when I did an engagement shoot in the rain. Iíll try to post some samples of the macro tomorrow.

It seems to make sense, but as I said after that, I've already plunged in with the DFA 50 and also bought few new lenses this year so it's more of what's left in my left wallet lol.

Been slowly growing. All for Pentax.

-Pentax DA 35mm 2.4
-Pentax DA 50mm 1.8
-Tamron 70-300mm Li LD Macro 4-5.6
-Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro HSM (Contemporary)
-Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens
-Pentax DFA 100mm WR
-Pentax DFA 24-70mm 2.8
-Pentax FA 77mm 1.8
-Laowa 15mm 2.8 Wide Angle Macro
-Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro
-Pentax DFA 70-200mm 2.8
-Lastly just got the new Pentax DFA 50mm 1.4

So total of 12. The APS-C lenses I don't really use anymore although I still have my K-r. Pretty much been using the K-1 ever since I got it.
Planning to put the DA 50mm and the Tamron 70-200mm on sale soon.

@pathdoc, Like @monochrome described, I have a plate on the tripod foot and a plate on my camera. I attach one end of my slide to the tripod foot and then attach the other to the camera. Ends up sitting comfortably on my side.
