pffttt call that munted...this is munted :D

couldn't get the last bit apart as there were no more tiny screws...
so I used the tried and true twist and wrench technique.
a couple of magnifying lenses in there suitable for firelighting or something
Might wack it on TM

yes, and the lens will never stop down unless camera is in manual
that's my point, none of whatever auto modes modes will get anything but a wide open lens
I think people resort to shorting things or is that for catch in focus
there is a lot to be said for the old preset lens,
such a lovely sequence...Av on camera with suitable exposure bias, preset to what ever,
focus wide open, rotate that silken stopdown ring and click :)

Hi,
Blowed if I can find this in the manual.
In LV I hit the OK button to magnify the view to check focus but it isn't enough for my eyes.
Is there only one choice in amount of magnification ?
Thanks
Pete

I don't think that is correct, in anything accept Manual, the lens does not stop down at any stage.
The variation is probably due to Gubs point about light leakage through the viewfinder effecting metering

The 21 was my most used lens on the K-5 series...great useful field of view and plenty sharp for cropping
there is slight distortion that the incamera bizzo sorts fine
