Full frame lenses on APS-C

I have used APSC, but most FF lenses for more than 15 years, the first many years on APSC crop cameras. From my experience, there are no issues with flare and ghosting, and no issues with anything else. Because you only use 2/3 of the image circle, you get sharper sides and corners on the vast majority of lenses. Of course, you miss the lens' unique expression on FF. Look at an MTF chart, it is often about 2/3 out that the curves roll off.

The foreground, in between, and background make a sense of depth and the houses in the middle is a fine reference.

Thank you! The lens makes it easy to get the best out of the motif.
Good modern lenses has sharp corners and very little distortion of the kind which is being measured in lens test. It seems the misconception that color and shades is something you can make in Photoshop is very common ;-)

Here is a other one I posted in Lens Review Database

Thank you very much!
I guess it is more easy to see the extraordinary in other surrendering than where you are living. I think I will never stop get
excited from new experience when I visit Spain, which I have done many times.

The Sonnar 2.8/180 is a real classic. The compressed depth and tons of beautiful bokeh is also very nice for portrait.

Thank you

..But the Zebras got much more character than many of the newer ones. I really like the the 135 sonnar, 80mm Biometar, 50mm Tessar, 25 and 20mm Flektogons. And the 35mm Flektogon -even if it is a f:2.8 it got the best bokeh of all 35mm I have tried, and it is perhaps the most inspiring 35mm to use, (but not the sharpest, but sharpness is not everything), also compared to my newer Zeiss and Leica lenses

Hi Pentax friends

I hope there is room for a former analog Pentax user, and a present Pentax lens user. I used Pentax up to the the start of the digital age. For different professional reasons I now use Sony bodys with mostly Zeiss lenses. But I still use what is left of my Pentax K, M and A lenses, some were sadly stolen. And I'm still as happy as always when I use the lenses.
