Thank you very much Adam and dlacouture,

Adam "Could it have been the case that you moved the camera just slightly after you composed your shot?"

I made sure to stabilize the camera with high iso setting and speed to freeze any possible movement, so I believe this
is a matter of sensor construction as pointed dlacouture, thank you for your kind reply.

dlacouture "In fact, the K7/K5 viewfinder is more than 100%...
This is simply due to the fact that the SR feature implies some sensor movement, and so Pentax decided that the viewfinder should show the external boundaries of possible sensor locations...
So in your viewfinder, you should see some extra space all around the frame when compared to the final picture.
From memory, SR allows for a +/-1mm move all around the frame..."

Yes you are right, the viewfinder's coverage is wider than the final image, and it must be as you said the SR feature.
And as I see it is a matter of "construction", so I can not see a perfect coverage by desactivating SR ?
Thanks for your help both, that was appreciated !

Hello friends,

I just bought a new K-7 and I am very impressed with all the things in the camera.
It is a real monster !

But lately I noticed a slight difference between the image I see in the viewfinder and the image that shows after
in the LCD.

After a more careful checking, I realised that that image I get in the LCD is displaced to the bottom compared to the one
I see in the viewfinder.

I Know that the viewfinder has almost 100% coverage, but there shouldn't be any displacement, or am I wrong ?

Please help me guys !

Thanks everybody !
