No, personaly i didnt see anything of flickering problems, i read about them i and was aware of potencial problems, i purchase trough amazon and worst case scenario i just simply return the monitor, i cant say if my monitor was factory updated, but i havent had any issue with flickering, if you try this monitor, just ask to the store if its faulty you can get a refund (not a repair)

I have the BenQ PD3200U and im very happy, sometimes i would like to be a 27" monitor (for everyday use a 32" is maybe a little big) way better at color than my old Dell 24",i have a 2k Laptop and for editing returning to 1080p looks weird, not bad, but certainly i prefer the 4k and 2k, i cant say anything about the others and i know the BenQ Photo line of monitors but they were more expensive, the monitor itself doenst improve the quality of my editions, but hey, looks awesome.

For photography, the "PD" line from BenQ is very nice PD2700 or similar i believe they have 24" at 1080p, 27" at 2k and 4k, and 32" at 4k

More affordable the wide monitor from LG, are IPS with 100% sRGB (not AdobeRGB)

Five Favourite Lenses

I will say:

1.- DFA* 50mm: Bright, fast, sharp, Cons: Expensive, bulky
2.- DFA*70-200: Sharp, and same as 50, amazing image Cons: Heavy and Expensive

Those only two lenses are for me the best lenses and i could live with only those two

3.- FA77LTD: Small, bright, lots of pixie dust Cons: DFA50 have me spoiled here, i feel every lens like a slug on focusing matter, and no WR
4.- FA31LTD: Small, bright, pixie dust as same as 77ltd: Cons: Not WR, at 30mm is relatively fast with focus, maybe noise but its being picky
5.- DFA24-70 As good as it is, this lens dont have the same pixie dust as the other lenses, maybe im not "feeling it", maybe i just prefer prime lenses (notable exception the 70-200 is a stack of primes), i use it as a walkaround lens. Cons: for its size, and weight is lacking pixie dust

Dont get me wrong, theyre all awesome lenses, but im in love with the K1+fat fifty or the 70-200, i also own the DFA100, DFA50macro, DFA15-30, DA11-17 fisheye, 43ltd, 28-105, zeiss 85mm, but hand down those two are my absolute favorites

The DFA*50mm f1.4, while (very) expensive, along with the DFA*70-200, are (for me) the best modern lenses in the line-up

The fat fifty is great wide open, very fast to focus and heavy, you can knock down easily someone if needed

Price aside, Pentax-D FA* 50mm f1.4 or Pentax-FA 77mm F1.8 Limited?

I own both lenses, if you dont like the size of the 24-70, then you will dislike the DFA*50 as they have pretty much the same lenght and weight, the 77mm is very light and short

Both are very nice lenses, but i prefer the DFA*50 focusing speed, sharpness... pretty much that lens is soldered on my K1 on pair on image quality to the DFA*70-200

I have been considering on selling the 77mm but works very nice on my olympus doubling as a 154mm f1.8

My only "issue" with Pentax today is the AF, i would like to be fastest (Center point is good, but eye AF for kids and moving person can make my work way more easier), that Joystick give me hopes, i would like to see a huge improvement in that area and then see that tech exported to a FF camera, otherwise i maybe jump ships to Sony or Nikon mirrorles, prove me wrong Ricoh.

Im just waiting for the release of the DFA*85, and see if i can afford it... if not, those FA*85 will drop in price,,as far as this lenses, they're out of any use for me, maybe only to brag about have a very big lens (i more inclined to portrait, and the DFA*70-200 (and DFA*50 and FA77ltd) is more than enough

Sell all and buy the Fat Fifty DFA*50....

The K1 sensor maybe could be as demanding as the K3 sensor, but now you will going to use thw whole circle and maybe they wont cut in the corners, other option can be the DA*55

The answer will be test all the 50 and look what lens is sharper at maximun aperture.

On the Cheap/Quality, i think nothing get close to the ones Adorama Sells, the EZ Glow line, i have their deep parabolic and its very nice (miles ahead of the Neewer, quality wise)

If you need to try, give those modifiers a chance

---------- Post added 03-08-19 at 08:51 PM ----------

Point given, Neewer C-stand arent Mathews, Kupo or Avenger C-Stand, but cost less than half their cost, and the quality its good, not awesome but fair taking in mind the cost, they will last a lot of time, but arent as good looking as the other brands, but it will do the job[COLOR="Silver"]

The Neewer C-stands are very good stands against their cost, smetimes theyre on sale in amazon, theyre definitly more costly (less than 100usd) but cheap in the C-stand world

If the dials and logos AOCO or Asashi Pentax where on silver/nickle/chrome... it could look better.

I mean, its not bad, not great, but i respect the time and care he/she put to paint the camera

Too rich for me, anyway.

I tend to upload medium quality images on Instagram (mostly because, i cant post at higher resolution) as im an enthisiast who do not make money out of this, the weird 3 times someone ask for pictures (usually the same people who are in the picture) i gave them HQ version of the images, those who prefer a cheap screenshot of the image, i think they can take it at low quality cause they do not ask for a better file

Im not monetizing or selling, so smugsmug is out of the question, maybe if i could sell enough just to pay the membership (same with flickr) i maybe use them, i do not use Flickr, i use it before to upload and share trough blogspot, but the limit (even if enough for me) make the whole thing more complicated.

Facebook i use it for personal things, so there goes anything from my cellphone to the camera and ramdom pictures

I was thinking on the new "D"-FA 28-105.... my bad

Still, it may be not viable "economical speaking" repairing or send them to repair (even possibly to repair), i do not have experience with that lens so im not familiar the kind of image quality the lens can produce on those FL range

If the lens is new or still in warranty, semd it back or call the warranty, its not normal and forcing the lens can potencialy do more damage

I havent used the Sigma, i only have the DFA*50, so far, my best prime lens and my secon best lens overall (i really prefer the DFA*70-200 due portrait purposes) but focuses way faster and with more confidence than any other lens i have

You may have seek for comparision against the Sigma vs Tokina Opera (Pentax rebrand) and look for more opinions in the Canon/Nikon world
