OK serious question here.

I have the Bigma now and have shot great shots and not so great shots. Is the new 300 f/4 that much better of a lens than my Bigma?

I know it will considerably faster but will not reach out as far. so is it worth 1300$ when I already have a Bigma????

A sigma 50-500 would be considered What?...... Awesome glass, good glass, ok glass ?

Is * glass the best money can buy?

How does Sigma compare to Pentax stuff?

I was going to upgrade my K10 but am finding out I need more lenses, and better lenses.

The majority of what I like to shoot is wildlife.

My Sigma 50-500 is an EX also.

Thanks all!!.... I will be looking into a few lenses instead.

Suggestions on lenses will be greatly appreciated. Will the Pentax 200mm smc P-DA* F2.8 ED(IF) SDM Lens be that much better than my 70-300mm, (faster, sharper?) Or even up to the 300 if will be far superior to my other?

I was debating on upgrading to the K20, but alot of kind people on the site have talked me into sticking with my K10 and getting a few new lenses.
i am still a ROOKIE at this photo thing but love shooting and am wondreing about a few photos I have shot and what could make them better.

Photos 1,2,3 and 5 are with a Sig 70-300
Photo 4 is with the Sigma 50-500

Thanks all!

So you all see no reason to go to the K20 that has 14 meg and CMOS?

I was leaning towards the K20 simply because the lenses I have, and the upgrades to the K20.

I now have a Sigma 70-300 and the 18-55 that came with the body as well as i bought a Sigma 50-500mm that I am wishing when I bought it i would have done a different lens though.

I currently have a K10d and am debating on the new K20 or switching over to the D200. I am still a MAJOR ROOKIE at photo but love shooting.

What are going to be the pros and cons of each camera, is one more user freindly, will one shoot better in low light conditions, etc.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thats really to bad sunshine, I dropped mine about a month ago and was going to send it back as I bought mine from Ritz with the two year extended plan also. When I found out how long it would be gone I decided to wait untill after the Holidays.

Good Luck.

Well I know I bought the Warranty that does not matter how or what damaged it.

I was wondering if anyody has dealt with Ritz/Inkleys on a warranty like this before.

Are they good to deal with on a waranty of this sort?

Has anyone dealt with Ritz/Inkleys for a extended service plan?

I dropped my K-10 and the bottom cracked and the side has a small dent in it. Camera will still take pictures.

My question would be are they very good about replacing the camera? or are they very cheap and will try to just fix it?

The plan I bought was a no fault, doesnt matter whose fault it was or what happend.

I have always bought it and never used it on any of my last 4 cameras.

I am new to this site, and pretty new to Photography.
I have been shooting for almost two years and am still struggling. I have the K-10 with a Sigma 70-300,Pentax 18-55 and the Bigma. The majority of what i use this camera for is widlife, I have a FZ20 for just shooting around the house. Anyway I am not getting very good pics when I get into the 300-500 range, which is very frustrating because I bought this lens for that reason. I am wondering if something is wrong with the lens because I can take a picture at 500 free hand, and see no difference if I put it on my tri-pod. maybe I am expecting to much from this lens? The pictures are great at a close distance 20-30 yards but awful at 100+.
